My RM is the best! Sadly, she’s retiring na next year.
I only chat her on viber if I need something. Like check any incoming deposits, ordering currencies, asking for credit limit increase.
Recently, I asked her for a home loan. We contacted other banks but my queen RM handled it the fastest even when we reached out to her last. Also, got the best rate din and appraisal among the banks we’ve contacted.

Paano ba magkaroon nang RM? May email rin dati na preferred ako but wala naman na naka assign na RM.

RM ko taga sabi lang sakin ng rate ng trust accounts ko, usually mga 20 mil and up preferred niya ichummy chummy. nasa below 20 mil ako kaya di ako prio niya, pero pag andun siya, skip the line talaga.

BPI has the worst VIP banking service for me. They have other BPI branches that have VIP lounge pa pero lagi walang tao to assist you (like shangrila mall).
Tapos yung mga tellers nila parang naghahabol lagi ng quota or commission, aalukan ka ng kung anu anong insurance under BPI MS na scammy (hirap magclaim sa insurance na to, pati car dealers inaayawan ang BPI MS ang tagal magrelease ng payment, pero mahal naman quote nila sa insurances).
Yung RM ko wala ring kwenta, she tried to offer me their VUL products na alam naman nating lahat na pababa ang trend,siguro kasi malaki ang commission nila doon. So prinangka ko and told her i hate VUL, scam yan na kunwari with insurance attached. Pangiti ngiti nalang sya.
Their investment rates are not the best also, other banks give better rates than them.

My RM is not from my branch (sabi kasi daw most of my transactions are online na so they gave me someone from Virtual Store (?)) who also just happens to be an RM sa Private Banking (personally parang di pa naman Private Banking levels un acct ko).
I initially got in touch to ask about TBills, after nun she'd message m ena pag may Retail Bonds, TD deals, etc. Very helpful naman in my experience kasi when I go to the main office, handa na lahat ng papers to sign. If I need anything, she'll talk to the staff sa nearest branch sakin so I can transact there.

Wala hahaha. Gusto ko lang na preferred ako kasi unli free transfer. Yung RM ko panay alok sakin ng products na feeling ko hindi naman na beneficial sakin, muntik pa nga ako kumagat buti na lang pinasend ko yung materials for my further review. Mas ramdam ko pa na VIP/priority ako sa EW kahit hindi naman ako priority dun.

I have been a preferred client since 2022 and now working overseas. From then I only had the following comms to my RM:
- Conversion of points to Mabuhay Miles
- Set up of automatic debit for credit card balance due
Other than these instances, di na kami nagcocommunicate. Di rin sya proactive.
Recently though I have been assigned a new RM and upon introduction, nagmention agad sya about corporate bonds if I’m interested. That’s still being processed so we’ll see how efficient the new RM is.
Overall, convenient sya if you have transactions and di mo matawag sa bangko, especially if OFW. But okay sana if they are more proactive about investment opportunities.

parang dedicated concierge pala si RM. Which is nice to have, one point of contact.

My first RM with BPI was my favorite.. I haven’t really built up my banking portfolio yet. I was just starting out in my business and didn’t have millions in the bank but she treated me like VIP. She facilitated my credit limit increase, my bank certs for my travels etc. She never once did offer me products that I don’t need … I never bought an insurance or took up any loan offers from her.
When I got transferred to another RM which was the case it went downhill from there … I’ve had 4 RMs so far and nobody really was at par with her. If you’re a lurker here at Reddit MAM JENNY RAMOS thank you for everything po 🌹
For my RCBC RM the two I’ve had so far are the best. They really go out of their way to assist me.
BDO sa diamond card parang wala naman aside from avoiding long queues and the free bank certs etc
security bank had me attend wealth seminars lng with free food and good speakers.
So there … I think you should develop a good relationship with your BM and the people at your branch it’s a more beneficial relationship

Non existent. Ang matinong RM ko lang from BPI Preferred was my first one. I have been moving my funds to SB since last year kasi nakakaumay talaga ang CS ng BPI. I just make sure to maintain my Preferred status. SB Gold versus Preferred are miles apart for me.
If you go to BPI branches na parang di sila sanay to deal with Preferred, wala din. Pipila ka pa din at magiintay ng matagal. Kaya if I have to get a bank cert, sa BPI main branch ako pumupunta since me free parking and they have renovated it so me sariling area ang Preferred clients. Kasi kung hinde maiinis lang ako uli.

Maliit na amount ang Php1M for an RM to give attention sayo. Php10M baka bigyan ka lang ng standard packages.
Nasa bandang PhpXXXM ang totoong mararamdaman mo ang RM, pero usually ililipat ka na nila sa ibang team or department nila.

Depende sa RM. I had one that is really helpful and very responsive. I also had one na sobrangvtagal or unresponsive at all. Wala kwenta mga survey ng bpi kahit ilang 0 ko sa rate hindi pa rin napapalitan.

One question and a short answer. Ganyan kami lagi ng RM ko Pag nagtatanong ako at feeling ko ay hindi sya willing tumulong.

Have been with 3 RM, first RM was okay nag uupdate ng promos and investments, 2nd RM wala akong narinig, 3rd and current RM is better than the two. Recently opened a time deposit and siya na lahat ng process and if I have questions sumasagot agad. Also offered me a BPI Visa and she also processed it, she explains things thoroughly. They won't initiate sometimes kaya ako yung nagtatanong sa kanya.

Walakwents. They were our first bank so special sila noon. Was a preferred client for years, never heard anything from their so-called RM. When we started building a better relationship at a new bank with a great manager, we got great TD offers at new bank, decided to close the BPI account and move everything to the new bank.
While closing the account was asked: "Saan po kayo lipat and ano po offer nila? Sana po nagsabi kayo, may offer din naman kami." This is after them quietly keeping a so-called "preferred client's" millions sleeping in a 0.0625% PA account without ever telling us about their "offers" or even saying hello.

Yung RM q, laging di available haha madalas naka leave pag kailangan q sya. LoL
Soooobrang tagal din makapag reply sa mga messages.
So yung free transfer nalang talaga napapakinabangan at preferred lane pag may need na certificate ganern

Actually. At most, RM lang ine-email ko pag nagpapawaive ng credit card annual fees. Ang haba na ng email thread namin dito sa requst for waiver ko ilang taon na rin 😅

ano ang RM, parang wealth/investment manager? preferred account ko for years pero parang wala naman may nag contact o naka assign kg may tanong ako. kahit nga yung pag apply ko ng UITF account as an ofw ang tagal kase kailangan mo pa mag mail hardcopy ng application with your ink signature. twice ko pa ako nag post/mail kase may error hindi na kita ng account manager (or wtf they call them) sa pdf na email ko before mailing the actual hard copy. kabwesit.
43yrs ng may internet ang mundo pero talagang hardcopy pa gusto nila.

I got a master's degree in quantitative finance... I've never really been net negative on my trading journey, in fact I'm up more historically, multiples of avg current salary in America. The one key to not blowing my shit out early was purely risk MGMT.
My technical and price action analysis took a lot of work, but a 60% win rate with proper RM is net profitable...

Walang financial advise or guidance from RM but I saved her number. One time, I got a phone call attempting to scam me and the person I was talking to was very convincing. Somehow, di ko sinunod mga pinapagawa nung scammer and when the phone call ended, I called up my RM who confirmed na BPI was not doing any of the things na sinabi nung scammer. One of the reasons bakit di ko ginawa yung pinapagawa nung scammer was because I knew, at the back of my mind, may matatawagan agad ako from BPI for verification.
