Maybe better food instead of the PR rpg ads? That seems like a better use of money. Decent/good food will always speak for itself more than an ad will.

NewGlenn never worked, BB7 proved that. They’re not gonna give concrete details on 100BBs on an X PR, that will be tomorrow.
And RKLB has missed every piece of guidance they’ve put out. Just because Beck then says oh sorry guys here’s why and here’s what we’re doing doesn’t excuse them from the fact that they too can’t meet their guidance.

Glen, does MVIS actually have a coordinated internal communications strategy, or are Marketing, PR, Investor Relations, and Social Media operating independently without talking to each other?
Shareholders are seeing posts published and deleted, duplicate press releases with inconsistent product naming (including the TM issue), LinkedIn announcements disappearing while paid campaigns continue promoting the same content, and major developments like FieldAI being communicated across AUSA, LinkedIn, and the official press release without any apparent coordination.
**How can investors have confidence in the company’s execution when something as fundamental as corporate communication appears so poorly coordinated?**
**Is there a communication strategy, a clear owner, and an actual approval process in place? Or does management simply not recognize how disorganized this looks to shareholders?**

Sadly, that might not happen. NVIDIA picked these relatively unknown partners because they are expendables. They are being positioned as the fall guys in this PR exercise with NVIDIA making no claims except that they beat some unnamed x86.

In the past days, a number of you might have stumbled upon a post titled
> "NVIDIA Vera Delivers 2x The Agent Speed Of AMD's 256-Core EPYC Venice And 1.6x More Agents Per Watt Than The Frequency-Optimized 96-Core Venice"
You might have wondered how Vera could be so much faster than AMD's currently ramping new generation Zen 6 CPU codenamed "Venice" despite claims from AMD that theirs is the best, the short answer is that the claims presented by NVIDIA are a PR exercise done to mislead, and here's the explanation.
The post links to a wccftech article which then references a blog post by Nvidia titled
> "Vera Delivers the Best of Both Worlds: Highest Throughput and Fastest Agents"
Nvidia's blog explained:
- "In a 100-megawatt data center comparison, NVIDIA found that **a single Vera CPU** performs better than the fastest x86 CPU and the most energy-efficient **x86 CPU**."
The bolded text highlights where the deception first starts.
1. NVIDIA is comparing a single Vera CPU against a single competing CPU. Where they are misleading in this comparison is that they have completely ignored the fact that Vera has 1/3 the core density of Venice, and to serve the same number of users or workloads (For example, number of Muse instances), 3 times the number of sockets would be required. By framing this as a 1:1 comparison, NVIDIA has removed their core density disadvantage from the equation completely.
2. NVIDIA compares Vera to "x86 CPU" without naming the exact models. Could they be avoiding explicit mention of Venice due to NDA? No, and this will be explained later.
3. NVIDIA has provided no benchmarks of any types directly, instead, it based its claims on the posts from 6 of its partners which it has cited. So these partners must have compared Vera to Venice, right? Wrong.
Diving deeper into the partners' posts revealed this.
> **Perplexity**: Ran agentic coding tasks 1.5x faster on Vera than on **traditional CPUs**
There are no benchmarks. The "traditional CPUs" are not named, so a vague claim without any proof.
> **deepinfra**: Delivered up to 2.2x speed of the **best x86 processor**
Measured: Vera 29 ms vs **Intel Sapphire Rapids 64 ms, 2.2×**, Vera **1.2x over Zen 5**
They marketed the 2.2x win over **Intel's Xeon 4, a 2 generation old product** as a win over the "best x86 processor" when the best they measured was 1.2x win over a model undisclosed "Zen 5", that's a straight lie.
>**ClickBench**: Hardware leaderboard with no performance number claims. **Scales linearly with core count on Vera**
The best AMD CPU they have in their posession is a **Zen 4 9474F** which was 2.34x slower. The AMD CPU was a 64 core and the Vera system was a 2 socket system with 176 cores. **176 cores faster than the 2 generation old Zen 4 64 core in a workload that scales almost linearly with core count, what a surprise!**
> **DuckLabs**: Achieved about 1.5x the median TPC-H SF1000 performance of an Intel Xeon 6 baseline.
At least they are being honest about comparing to Intel's **Granite Rapids**. The specifications of the Xeon 6 is undisclosed because according to them, "reliable information on the TDP of the Xeon 6975P-C and the frequency of these chips is not available" because it is "a custom variant" which does not have public specifications.
How do they test and understand the efficiency when they do not know the power their test system was consuming? Oh they didn't make any claims about efficiency and did not have physical access to the hardware. Next.
> **Daytona**: **Over 8x faster** custom sandbox startup time. Vera brought 1,000 agent sandboxes online in 10.8 seconds, 88.4 seconds with x86.
Compared to **Zen 5 9755** which is not a single core performance model. According to their very own benchmark, switching to a Zen 5 9575F drops the time taken from 88.4s to **32.3s**. This information was left out on purpose.
> Modal: Achieved up to 2x sandbox throughput per core versus comparable x86 hardware
Compared to Graviton G4, G5, Granite Rapids and model undisclosed "Zen 5", where that Zen 5 CPU trades blows with Vera in 4 of 10 benchmarks and even leads Vera in 2 of them.
So what is the summary?
1. NVIDIA did not compare Vera against Zen 6 Venice. Instead, they made vague claims about "the fastest x86" which according to their partners' benchmarks, turned out to be a mix of Xeon 4, Zen 4, and model mismatched Zen 5.
2. The titular performance claims were based on comparisons to the worst performing of x86 tested. (2 generation old Xeons etc)
2. The website Wccftech took liberty of replacing NVIDIA's vague "x86" with "Zen 6 Venice" when in truth, neither NVIDIA nor its partners benchmarked Venice.
There you go, NVIDIA's marketing blog was all FUD, and the website Wccftech added its own touch to it to turn it worse.

Hey r/CryptoCurrency,
I’m Stephen, u/yaxiba, and I handle PR and marketing at Constant Finance. We’re building a peer-to-peer protocol for fixed-rate, fixed-term onchain credit.
A question we’ve been thinking about: how can borrowers know their interest rate upfront without losing the flexibility to repay when they no longer need the funds?
With Constant Finance, borrowers and lenders agree on the rate and term upfront. The protocol is designed to let borrowers repay early and pay interest for the time they actually borrowed. That flexibility has a tradeoff: lenders need to consider the possibility of early repayment and reinvestment risk when setting their rates.
I’ll be here on **Sunday, November 8, from 15:00 to 17:00 UTC** to answer your questions. I’ll also check back afterward for questions I missed.
We can discuss Constant’s design or onchain credit more broadly, including:
* When fixed rates make sense compared with variable rates
* How borrowers can compare the total cost of a loan, beyond the advertised rate
* How early repayment affects borrowers and lenders
* What options lenders have when they want to exit before maturity
* Collateral, liquidation, smart contract risk, and other tradeoffs
* What DeFi credit needs to become more useful
* Who we are and how the team is developing
I work on PR and marketing, so if a technical question needs input from our product or development team, I’ll check with them and follow up where I can.
Questions, criticism, and suggestions are all welcome. Ask me anything.

Indeed, and from what I understand, what they’re showing in their PR is still a concept aircraft, not even a working prototype of the H1-X yet. Building, testing, validating and certifying an aircraft takes years. Targeting 2028 for certification and mass production seems far too ambitious when they haven’t even demonstrated a flying prototype of the final design, let alone established manufacturing base. There’s a massive difference between selling a concept and delivering an airworthy aircraft.

What I never super understood about their kind of no sales people approach for lack of better term is for a lot of the point a good salesperson can make the turn around on the closing sale regarding the customers prior complains and or questions about said product. I agree with the radioactive part but I don’t know what their solution is to get a hazmat PR clean up.

It’s important to apply steps to mitigate personal bias. Palantir is abstracted away from the hardware/data center build out so it doesn’t have the capex issues that might not have an ROI. What makes Palantir intriguing here is that companies will always have datasets that need to be joined so they can make decisions. Palantir needs to hire a PR/marketing firm since if companies view the company has radioactive it could hurt its new clients/retention which could create risk.

**Day 11 in the books!**
**(Please see at bottom for answers to common quick questions - updated stats)**
**All of this is for you guys. I'm an open book!**
Rough one. Primary -24.2R, nearly all of it from one 10-minute burst of semis shorts. Major glitch today. Really looking forward to a few
**Changes before today:**
* No setup or rule changes. Fixes only: the account halt + per-setup stops now survive a run restart, and every dollar figure = Alpaca.
**Today:** **Primary** \-$1,238.60 with MTUM / -$1,057.07 without · Running total since Day 1 (10/23): **-$13,848.44** with MTUM / **-$2,210.60** without
**Milestones:** M1 (3 green days in a row) 0/3 · M2 (8 of last 10 green) 4/10
* MTUM: a broker paper glitch. Alpaca booked a fake 1:4 split on 11/5 (phantom -183 sh short, about -$11.5k on 11/5, -$181.53 more today until flattened at 3:55). Reported to Alpaca; MCF's orders were clean.
**What went wrong today:**
* \-21.6R: Early Sellers, Mid-High RSI (all day), 28 trades. 23 semis-heavy shorts 10:30-10:40, stopped out together 10:44-10:52 as SPY went from +0.45% to +0.86%.
* \-5.5R: Early Sellers, Strong Heat (all day), 14 trades, same tape.
* **Same failure as yesterday: one sector, one direction, one squeeze.**
* The shorts already open when the halt hit just bled to their stops.
* GitHub's scheduler was down this morning, so trading was started by hand at 8:49 and Hunch at 9:49.
**How we're fixing it:**
* This weekend: a targeted remedy for these bursts, reported setup by setup (who improves, who gets worse).
* Monday: a full Primary reevaluation with rolling rules. Nothing live without my sign-off.
**What's helped before:**
* The -2R per-setup stop latched both Early Sellers setups, then the -20R account stop halted Primary at 10:55. Zero entries after, 92 signals blocked.
* The halt held through the 2:38 run restart (the restart fix, PR #152, working live).
* \+23.3R: Morning Bounce Fade (Graveyard), the old Primary setup, had its best day. Funny how that works.
**Quick update:**
* Testing 2's top-500 trial, day 3: -2.0R on 165 trades vs Testing 1 at +3.6R on 92 (-0.01R vs +0.04R a trade).
* Setup Generator paused for now: overcrowding, too many setups competing for trades, so the existing ones get a fair test first.
**Things I am also working on:**
* **"Hunch":** Basic tool that runs 10s of thousands of guess each day on 3 minute bars, predicting the next. Just bars.
* **Market Compass:** Reads every 15 minutes where the market moved and where it's heading. Today's 10:44 squeeze is exactly the kind of turn it needs to catch.
* **Claude's Team, day 1:** as of 2:22 PM, Team -0.70R vs Primary -26.6R. It skipped both Early Sellers setups. Final numbers tonight (shadow, no orders).
**Setup streak facts:**
Counted on traded sessions - a session a setup didn't trade is skipped. R after costs.
* Green: Gap-Down Early Bounce Short (all day) (Testing 1) - 5 traded sessions in a row, +38.6R
* Green: Morning Bounce Fade (Graveyard) - 3 traded sessions in a row, +28.4R
* Green: Gap-Down Recovery Fade (all day) - 3 traded sessions in a row, +4.9R
* Red: Failed Prior-Day-Low Break Long (0.05 ATR, low volume) \[fill\] - 12 traded sessions in a row, -61.6R
* Red: Early Sellers, Mid-High RSI (all day) - 3 traded sessions in a row, -29.8R
**Quick answers to common questions:**
* Claude (Opus 5.5) - Python
* Alpaca API, paper trading, SIP market data (all US exchanges).
* US stocks + ETFs, intraday only (9:50 AM-3:55 PM ET), long and short, nothing held overnight.
* Setups built by basic indicators: RSI, VWAP, volume / buy-sell pressure, gaps, opening range, prior-day highs/lows, ATR.
* Setup Generator - A bot that invented 10 new setups a night (at least 5 long) and trades them on its own paper account. New concept: setups built randomly from random indicators. Paused after 10/28 so the existing ones get tested first.
* Setup Life Cycle - Idea or generator -> 2-yr backtest (costs in) -> test through replay sessions (20+ of them) -> Testing (paper) -> Primary (paper) -> real money after the milestones. Losers move down to the Graveyard, never deleted.
* Promoted / Demoted - Promoted = a setup moves up a level after earning it. Demoted = it moves down a level and keeps proving itself on paper there.
* Avg R - Average result per trade in units of the risk taken, after costs, fees and slippage (factored in already).
* Break-even win rate - Win rate a setup needs just to not lose money.
* Avg R w/o best day - Same, with its single best session removed - spots records carried by one big day.
* Accounts were meant to start at $100k; they could not be reset during earlier testing without conflicts, so some accounts started in a deficit
* **16,618 closed trades** across 24 sessions (10/6 to 11/6)(Not including replays and backtesting)
* **187 different setups** have traded live.
* **140,000+** setups/variations of setups proven unworthy for advancement.
Been an interesting ride so far. Thanks for the help!

This is bullish and good for the entire sector. If this becomes a trend, the US might have to rethink its strategy and I bet they will start throwing incentives again.
But also - what bans exactly? Most Democrat politicians are not at all against data centers, they are just for responsible buildout. I think that's more than reasonable. In the long term responsible build-out will help with the currently terrible PR.
