Clg student here pls review my portfolio
Goal- marriage
Planning to add 5k to quant infra
Investment horizon =10-15 yrs
Risk profile= high
The basic idea which I’m following is that my funds should not have any overlap (ik MO midcap and PPFC will have an small overlap but apart from that)
So to avoid an overlap

MO -- I'm 80 years old and the tobacco stocks aren't going anywhere! It yields 5.81% and the dividend is $1.06. When I was 16 a pack of cigarettes were $.25 cents. Don't forget BTI it yields 5.48% and its dividend is $0.8349.

I’d get a little MO & JNJ..

1 MO on MSFT probably isn't horrible honestly. But I would wait until after earnings, in case it (likely) drops first.

Yes. Ppfcf, then hdfc flexi cap, then MO midcap, then Nippon small cap then bandhan small cap. All have become victim of same behaviour.
You need to study more about Bandhan smallcap.
Also, you don't need both NN50 and Mid cap 150. Study the relative behaviour.

What are your thoughts or advice regarding the below funds and splits:
Nifty 50 - 40%
PPFC or HDFC Flexi - 20%
Nifty Midcap 150 - 25%
Nifty Smallcap 250 - 15%
Risk appetite: Moderate to Moderately aggressive

N50: For stability and long term growth, long run indexed beats active? Say 20+ year horizon since we don’t have data on performance for that long of an active fund not sure.

I essentially plan to stay invested/keep adding for 15-20 years. Going forward I might re assess strategy with an investment advisor when I have more money to invest when I am able to take larger dividends from my business.

Wag naaa. Luging luging lugi sa pagprocess, gastos ng transpo pa BIR office tapos gasto pagpapagawa ng resibo, ang ending, yung hobby based products ko na stickers, hindi din naman regular yung kita non, sa shopee ako noon nag se-sell simula nong nag require sila ng BIR cert and registered online business nag comply ako pero since di naman regular, lugi lang din sa lahat. Tapos panay taas pa ng fee sa shopee, ang ending, hirap lang mag file file ng forms sa BIR para sa business na di naman na kumikita, may mga penalties pa kasi nong start ko di ako aware na need pa rin mag file ng forms kahit ZERo kita. Hindi rin very helpful anf BIR, parang after mo makapag register, BAHALA KA NA SA BUHAY MO ALAMIN YUNG MGA NEXT MO NA GAGAWIN. Buti may mga nagbibigay ng free tutorial sa YT kaso late ko na nakita at sobrang hirap din intindihin. Kapag ni-raise mo yung gganito sa BIR sasabihan ka lang na mag hire ng accountant, dagdag gastos pa kung gagawin mo, negative na nga kita sa business dagdag gastos pa hay. Ngayon additional gastos para ipa close yung business. Di ko nga alam kung pwede ko pa rin magamit TIN number ko para mag work na lang ulit ako kahit na registered as with online business. Sobrang gulo. Nakaka stress
