80% S&P 500 Index Funds. Slightly leveraged (9/10 FXAIX/SPYM/IVV & 1/10 SSO). Considering additional leverage (to be fair, leverage isn't a typical "Boglehead" idea, on the other hand data shows 1.5x to 2.0x leverage historically has better returns for set it and forget it style investing so I don't see it as incompatible)
10% BOXX (taxable accounts only - treasury-like returns but no distributions and no taxes until sold, at least for the time being while IRS reviews)
5% High Yield Bond Funds
5% Funny Money - individual stocks, trying a high yield index fund (HDV)
sentiment 0.36

That's an interesting way to think about it. While small cap value looks very different from the S&P 500 on the surface, we actually find the two often sell off together during periods of market stress, whether that's recession fears, rising interest rates, or geopolitical volatility. Small caps tend to be more sensitive to changes in the real economy, so they can experience larger swings in both directions.
The flip side is that when the economic outlook improves, small caps can perform well as expectations for growth strengthen.
If your goal is specifically to diversify away from the AI theme, another area to consider is high dividend stocks. We've found that high dividend companies, like those in the [iShares Core High Dividend ETF (HDV)](https://www.ishares.com/us/products/239563/), have often held up relatively well during periods when the AI trade has become more volatile.
Beyond equities, there are also other ways to diversify. International equities can broaden geographic exposure, although it's worth noting that emerging market returns are increasingly being driven by technology and AI. Fixed income and income-oriented strategies can also play an important role depending on the market environment.
Hope this helps and happy investing!
