10% Crowdstrike - best cybersecurity company which is an important sector
5% GLD (gold) or GDX (gold miners) - Gold is a good hedge and performs similar to the S&P in the very long term. This is important as the dollar is weakening.
5% IBIT - Blackstone’s Bitcoin ETF, an alternative asset that could rise significantly as stable coins expand.
25% VOO - Vanguard’s S&P Index ETF, the anchor of any portfolio.
Dollar cost average into these positions. Seasonal patterns suggest stocks dip in August, September and early October, then take off to year end. Come up with a schedule for weekly buys now through mid October for the bulk or your investable cash, then keep funding every month with current earnings. Successful investing is a patient steady habit. Do not engage in short-term term trading.
