Have one also .. my plan is when market goes up 15% .. take the minimum RMD .. RECALL you can take RMD again later if portfolio rises more .. if not sit on hands and you already got minimum covered.. BUT if have bills .. take in Januray with no taxes taken out .. gives you 15 month float until next year April .. GL

Family member bought a BMW once: within 5 years, it all started falling apart - radio lights went out and buttons stopped working, mirrors stopped working, heads lights went out (entire bumper needed to be removed - $800+ in labor to replace a $60 light bulb, and then transmission went out - $6k+ to replace). We bought it in 2016 (Mercedes GL 350). We liked the torque for mountain driving and diesel was only around 15 cents more expensive than gas at the time and the diesel stigma gave us negotiating leverage.
I was also being facetious for humorous effect:
1. We're pretty well off, so fuel isn't a significant line item on the budget
2. We finally replaced the Mercedes with a hybrid Range Rover last week.

I use the first 15 as my IB. Five min candles. 3 five min bars to define the break. Three in the same direction (green or red) = drive. Mixed = chop.
