Ohh so nag-jijive din yung rant, reklamo at kwento ng owner/friend ng The Crunch sa amin. Nag franchise siya ng The Crunch unang una pa lang sobrang mahal ng franchise fee, wala pa ang renovation, rent ng commercial space na usually one month advance and 2 months deposit and permits like business permit, BFP FSIC, etc.
I did not know about sa contractor na may required pala kaya noong nagrerenovate ng place 4 na workers yung nasa commercial space, pero kung titignan yung commercial space kasi kahit hindi na contractor yung gumawa talagang kahit DIY kaya kasi ang ginawa lang ay pininturahan yung pader ng colors ng The Crunch which you can hire a professional painter for half the price or DIY may mga hardwares na offer ng customized paint mixes basta bigay mo lang reference colors, nagbutas ng pader for the wall decor which you can do your self or use no nails adhesive. In short, very basic na basic yung design na literally you don't need a contractor to do that.
Opening day April 2025, so ok naman madaming tao ayos yung sale kasi alam niyo naman basta bago sa paningin ng tao dudumugin. After a few weeks halos wala ng kumakain kasi yung quality ng food hindi ganoong kasarap at for the price not worth it. Literally mas masarap pa yung proben ng katabing ihawan kesa sa food ng The Crunch. In terms of inventory ok naman medyo quality mahal nga daw ang delivery fee and medyo matagal. Kung oorder ka ng inventory do it at least 2 weeks.
Months passed up until November 2025, hindi pa din nababawi yung capital plus napapanis yung inventory ng hindi nabebenta umabot pa sa point na nagbebenta na sila ng graham bars noong time na nagtrending ang graham bars just to have extra sales. My friend decided to closed down the store. Lugi siya ng million and laking pagsisisi niya na kumuha siya ng franchise because of the hype.
Because of that I really don't trust franchises specially owner ng franchise ay vloggers.
