Have heard the same about Tesla when it has FSD.

Just like how we were going to be on mars already and FSD would be here a decade ago

We don't hate the fking media and their sensational headlines enough - They tried to make it seem like an autonomous Waymo killed a pedestrian - Now the full story comes out: Another SUV hit the dude first and literally threw him in front of the waymo, which then struck him
This Bullshit is similar to the story last month about Tesla FSD driving into a home and killing an 80 year old woman.
Upon further investigation, it turns out the dude had the pedal floored and was doing 70mph in a residential area. Not one reporter thought to wonder - hmm, I wonder if he's trying to blame this shit on FSD...

That $50B profit scenario is the part bulls really need to answer. If today’s valuation already assumes FSD, robotaxis, Optimus and energy all becoming major businesses, the bull case needs more than “Tesla isn’t just a car company.” It needs actual estimates for margins, market share and future cash flow that show where meaningful upside still comes from after all that success is priced in.

I see it this way: when FSD vehicles start being produced commercially to general public, a family, a single person, a company might own it own automated car. But you don't need it standing idling all day in your garage or parking, so Uber may come up with a scheme, where they will loan your car, or provided services where your car will be used as a taxi in its spare time. Uber has all the data, all the clients, all the schedule, maps etc. So if I own a vehicle, after it drops me to work, I will message to Uber that my car is free, say, till 16:00 and Uber will use it for commercial purposes.
But tell you the truth, I don't like taxis. US people won't understand how public transport is way better in many ways as in Europe.
With population increase I guess the best solution is and even now is public transport. Trams, metros, rail, metro busses, busses.
