Keep in mind I don’t hold and never have so I have not been following the latest developments.
So the FLT had two sites in western Blackbush at the base of the Kanaka beds and one in eastern BB high up in the sequence. The problem here is this is the best grade and best sedimentology in the deposit. The basal sands are coarse grained and very clean so good results are expected, hence why I said a small scale mining operation could be possible. The eastern parts have the problem of a lack of tonnes. There’s just not enough of it there IMO.
The main problems are PB and elsewhere where the lignite’s are more prevalent and the uranium is deposited higher up in the sequence where the lignite’s are.
Then you have to look at the value. It’s a $200mil company with an NPV of $260mil. The investment doesn’t make sense without some huge upside. Not sure what U price they used, maybe some there?
The biggest upside to me though is the exploration between the two deposits and the Epithermal potential beneath the deposit. One of those they have no interest in (for some reason, it’s hardly deep, we are talking 200m below the base of mineralisation and the cover is mineralised) and I’m not convinced there is another Blackbush to be found on this ground. In any case, is it going to be enough to move a $200mil company?
The ground is good in the right hands, it’s unfortunate that it’s with Aligator as I just can’t see an investment case with them.
As for the gravity: they do rely on it though, it’s all they are relying on and they have gone as far as to map out kilometres of “paleochannel” based off it. Very misleading. I’m guessing a lot of blank holes will ensue chasing this gravity.
Any case, I’m not sure why I’m arguing with a robot. 🤷
