Just discovered a BDC fund that pays monthly called FBDC from First Trust. Similar holdings to PBDC and similar performance from what I can tell. Slightly higher management fees at 0.95% vs 0.75% for PBDC but also actively managed. Volume and AUM not as high as PBDC or BIZD but it’s high enough for me and the bid/ask spread isn’t too wide either in my opinion. This fund used to be called FGB but it was reorganized this year and also recently started paying out distributions monthly. It has pretty bad historical performance but since the reorganization seems good, holdings seem fine to me. Looking for others to chime in but otherwise I hope this helps fill a need for monthly paying BDC fund.
