It's interesting to me. I own FESM (Fidelity Enhanced Small Cap - a sister fund that has been around longer). FESM is a fantastic fund, it has done well for me, and I have every reason to believe FSEV will be a good fund too. But my rule is that I don't invest unless a fund has been around at least 3 years with a minimum of 150M AUM. So, I am keeping my eye on it.

Why do you want a growth fund instead of a blend fund or a value fund?
If you want to get funds with less exposure to the mag 7 and tech stocks generally, you are going to be hard pressed to find a growth fund that does that unless you are looking at small cap growth or international growth.
If what you really want is less technology and don't actually care about value vs blend vs growth, then look at large cap value and at international generally.
Small cap growth funds (note, I would only want my worst enemies to actually invest in small cap growth, this is a terrible sector generally): VTWG, ISCG
International growth: IDMO, VDG
International blend: DFAX, AVNM
Large value: VTV, DIVB, SCHD, MGV
Small cap blend: SMLF, FESM
Small cap value: AVUV, VTWV, FNDA
Large blend (with less tech/MAG7 than a typical fund): VFMV, SPHQ, FNDB
But to me the easiest thing is just to buy, and keep buying, a simple global fund like VT, SPGM, DFAW, or AVGE and let the market sort it out.
