It's been a long time since my last post here! Still running my pool called DIVY since the ITN days!
I wanted to share a quick overview of a newer project called Unity. As a disclaimer, it's not on Cardano, but on World Mobile Chain.
Unity Network is a joint venture between World Mobile (World Mobile EarthNode NFTs are currently the highest-valued NFTs on Cardano!) and Minutes Network. The goal is to build the largest, distributed edge network using everyday mobile phones to audit real-world telecom services.
In simple terms, phones running the Unity app perform lightweight network checks. That includes things like call routing, caller ID accuracy, and how connections behave across different locations, carriers, and connection types (Wi-Fi vs mobile). Telecom companies already pay **a lot** for this kind of auditing, usually through third-party firms operating at much smaller scale. That is where the rewards come from.
Unity’s advantage and USP is scale and diversity. A global network of real consumer devices is super hard to replicate and can surface issues like routing problems, service degradation, or certain types of fraud more effectively.
For users, every task is opt-in. Running the app in the background lets you earn rewards in ADA for contributing device capacity. Once a small minimum threshold is reached, rewards can be withdrawn directly to any Cardano address you choose. Withdraw is instant, there is no gatekeeping.

The app is available on Android and iOS, though only Android is fully active right now. Unity has been live for about two months, and the app is stable at this stage.
At the moment, running the app passively earns up to **\~$0.30/day**. Additional opt-in tasks (such as caller ID verification and route testing) are scheduled to roll out over the coming days and weeks, with higher per-task rewards. It's not going to make you rich yet, although if you have spare old phones that are taking dust, it's a great way to give them a second life.
According to the roadmap, the network is expected to expand toward **\~30 different network-verification tasks** over time. Once fully deployed, the project estimates up to **96 UPS per device per month**, though this is a forward-looking target and not representative of current earnings.
