>please show me how trump selected his picks based on race and explicitly stated thats what he was doing.
That's not what DEI is. Maybe you're confusing DEI with affirmative action.
But I'll tell you what the Trump administration has done what critics of DEI usually say though. They say that you'll pick people not based on merit. The trump administration has appointed many people that weren't appointed by their merit. RFK Jr., Matt Gaetz, Kristi Noem, Tulsi Gabbard, etc. all have no experience to the position or very little experience in the relevant fields.

funny because there was nothing DEI about anyone picked in the trump administration. please show me how trump selected his picks based on race and explicitly stated thats what he was doing.

Oh wait, he never did. lol, that was the biden administration.
see to normal people, words have meaning, to authoritarians, words have purpose. That is what you are doing, using words for your own political goals despite them not applying to the situation.

A DEI hire would have caught that shit immediately and saved them a lot of trouble, but they got rid of that.

We're living in a DEI political correctness up the ass world right now. Everybody got a thin skin and thinks they're a special snowflake.

Exactly. This is either the result of being actively against diversity (I think ANY black person would see this and be like WTF) or this was extremely deliberate. I think since they are already been fully dismissed by people against their DEI bs, they are just leaning in and serving meat the active racist. We are beyond the place for excuses anymore when history books and google /ai are right there.

Having a draft dodger and scott bessent recreate dday in their own way and want us to get excited about sounds pretty effing DEI to me

Could be . They wrote their obituary in 2021. Since then the market cap of the company has fallen about 70 pct.
Nike formally unveiled its **2025 Purpose Targets** (including explicit racial/ethnic minority representation goals of 35% in the U.S. corporate workforce and 30% at Director+ levels, women’s representation targets, and tying executive compensation to progress on these and other ESG goals) in **March 2021**, alongside its FY20 Impact Report.
This formalized and expanded efforts that had already intensified after the George Floyd events in May 2020 (including a Black Community Commitment and related investments). The March 2021 announcement marked the clear public commitment to measurable, compensation-linked DEI targets for the following five years.

Something something hiring unqualified POC candidates not based on merit something something. /s
If someone wants to see unqualified DEI candidates they should look towards the current Trump administration.

And if they move away from black models, black customers will further move away from shopping at Target.
This isn't a case of Target continuously getting fucked by happen-stance, this is a billion dollar corporation with eyes on everything. Stop giving a billion dollar corporation that rolled back DEI efforts as the Trump admin took power the benefit of doubt on racial incidents.

DEI should have never existed in the first place. The concept is inherently racist.

You see, they were just trying to clarify that DEI only applies for rich people who grovel at 🥭’s feet and is completely unnecessary for any disadvantaged or underrepresented populations

Scott says we must take him super cereal.
He is super DEI, thus he was in a bottom position for many years.
