I'd agree.
It's been 20 years or so, but I remember when I got serious about properly allocating across my 401k menu and the prevailing wisdom seemed ridiculously conservative. I vaguely recall the CW was even thinking like an 85/15 split *in my 30s!!!*. This wasn't rando123 internet advice - but the guidance you'd get from reputable sources.
Market (and broader) changes are certainly the biggest factor -- but I always thought the *biggest* problem is that the CW was predicated on a consistent timeline and standard retirement age.
Wrong plenty myself - and to be fair? Even the old CW was always proviso'ed with healthy YMMV - but if your time horizon is *at least* a decade off? Who the hells knows. Chase growth.

In general, both sides have been hostile toward each other in the past year and it certainly doesn’t help that people like you can’t tell that threads like this are created in bad faith.
A while back, I recommended that you present your arguments to the sellaslifesciences subreddit and you refused to do so claiming that it was an echo chamber.
OK, horse and water situation. I disagree because I’ve seen users like CW, RB, and Thetamancer (among many others) continuously digest and address counterpoints while everyone waits for topline results. That doesn’t matter though. You clearly decided that that wasn’t a good use of your time. Fair enough. No big deal.
And, yet, I’ve seen you choose to run the same play on every other SLS post for the last few months: 1) Post old\* bear takes w/ some preemptive ad hominem of bulls being “cultists/fanboys” for flavor; 2) Receive pushback from levelheaded users (the fanatics usually stick to downvoting); 3) Disengage from the conversation (either no response or accuse ppl simply responding to your points of being harassers or aggressive and then radio silence.)
Example: Your responses in “SLS Ground Reality: A Deep Dive into Key Red Flags Away From the Hyper-Bullish Hype”
Seems inefficient at best to me, I’m glad you found something to do while waiting for Greg to get back to you on KULR.
\*You’re still talking about things like where the CEO got his degree from as if he’s running the trials himself. The community has moved on to discussing transplant rates.
