Yeah, I mean, avoiding coal makes total sense as there's plenty of alternatives.
It's important to note a lot of "green" companies aren't good investments. The amount of solar companies that went bankrupt ( I remember $SUNEQ), companies that promise an alternative but end up promising dreams and losing lots of money are common.
I would recommend looking into companies to make sure they're good investments first, then looking at their emissions second.
Eg, railways have always been a good investment and don't pollute much at all, looking at CNR, CP, etc. they're done of the most efficient transportation out there
