After a turbulent last year, where I went from making 60% gain in tech stocks, to losing it all and then some in the November dip, I've decided to go for a "time in the market" approach. I've compiled this portfolio based on trying to target key areas where I think growth will occur, whilst casting a wide enough net to hopefully diversify enough that I won't have another red year.
I'm thinking about selling off the SGLN and investing in physical gold coins instead. The money from the selloff would remain in my ISA and instead the coins would be bought with money that would otherwise have gone into the ISA. I should still be able to hit the 20k limit by end of year anyway.
As for the silver- I do think I bought at a poor time, but I believe that it will perform well in the coming few years. I'm willing to admit that I have overbought it.

For this year I think I will bolster future renewables pie (containing WREN, CHRG, WREE, NCLP, and FOGB), as well as INRG; and invest into CAT, Rolls Royce, ABB primarily, with FormFactor and SML taking smaller investments.

To me, this seems like a good plan, but I'm interested to see if there's something glaringly obvious that I'm missing. Am I too diversified, not diversified enough? I'm not massively clued up on the market, but I've been in it around 18 months so I'm not massively new.

Am I holding something insane? Wasting my time with something? Any advice or opinions would be massively appreciated.
