Prefer CETF etf for mainland exposure given the exposure to "hard" industries like battery player CATL.
IZZ etf is also an interesting play but for me, too much exposure to consumer tech like Alibaba, Tencent and Meituan which have struggled. But perhaps a contrarian play now.
However, H-shares (found on IZZ) normally trade at a "discount" compared to mainland counterparts given the ease of capital flows to and from Hong Kong.
Another option is DRGN etf which gives you exposure to the fastest growing tech players on mainland and HK, but it's highly concentrated with only ~20 holdings.
