From the companies perspective Georgia would be the place to go. There’s already infrastructure in the state as well as people with experience in production.
Talent and crew would likely be a lot less happy about moving to Georgia. Lower minimum wage, less worker protections, shitty beaches, sand gnats, not that glamorous in general. Even though Georgia has been turning purple politically there’s still a shitload of MAGA.
Back to the other hand CBS has made it clear that they are courting maga and trying to be Fox News lite so who knows?

Last night it misheard me and thought I asked for news. For the first time it recommended CBS news rather than an Alexa branded something.
I will be making time to remove it now.

Why don’t they just agree not to take CNN as part of the deal; isn’t that the real issue? CBS is already turning into Fox Lite. If the State owns CNN there’ll be little true news left on cable.

Deal away CNN to Disney or Apple or a fair broker that wants it. Maybe that gets the deal done.
