So here’s my kids RESP portfolio. Not traditional but it’s worked well for me. 3 kids. 2 x 10 year olds 1 x 8 years old.
We max it out every year mainly using the CBB and most money they get for gifts.
When I started I focused on blue chip Canadian dividends mainly. I’ve come to realize I was heavy Canadian obviously and missed out on some of the other runs as of late. Last 1-2 years I’ve slowly started adding tech and other stuff. ONEQ, META, AMZN, XCHP.
How would you adjust the portfolio going forward. I’m pretty content to let current positions drip unless
I’ve missed something with some of the larger ones.
Would you sell anything? Add to any current? New funds or positions to add?
Sitting on about 3000 cash now. And maybe still have another 3000 or so in room left for the year.
