I think moving BTC into a BV is the way. Especially if you have a BV already, but I think creating a BV might be worth it if you hold >€10k BTC.
Agio deposit or sell to BV for cash, before 1st of January 2028.
You'll pay VPB + box 2 over the profit when you sell or get it out, which is slightly higher than box 3 tax, but at least not on unrealised gains.
It is utterly ridiculous that this is necessary. I never minded paying my fair share of tax for society. But how politics and especially box 3 is currently handled and milked is enraging. I am very motivated to make sure that from now on forward I avoid every euro of tax payment in NL I legally can.
