Last April the Biotech sector was briefly hit with what i refer to as "The Trump Effect".. the changes at the FDA, pharma tarrif threats etc.... but rebou ded fast...lucky for any of us who piled i to a sector ETF or general basket od biotech stocks... as we had a great 20-30% Recovery rally....
In the past month.... those same ETFs have had a sudden rally again of 20-30%.... and as i hold a broad basket of biotech seems theyre neraly all on the up... and random pick of 10-20 biotech stocks would likely have given great returns in the past few weeks... why.... Positive FDA changes, uptick in M&A (and not just Lilly buyi g everything, but they seem to try...)...
So while we usually post about individual stocks... any of you also with broad biotech portfollios and thoughts...
I'm 90% biotech and gradually selectively trimming this and last week... trimming those that popped and could give up most on a pullback... and rotatimg into less risk.... i.e. the opposite to the market these last few weeks...
BUT... I KEEP PLENTY IN HIGH RISK SMALL AND MID CAP BIOTECH AS FEELS LIKE THIS MAY BE BIOTECHS RE-RATING YEAR AND THE BUZZ OF NEW TECHNOLOGY..
