Anyone dumb enough to not even casually check the DATE on those numbers deserves to miss out. (The 2T valuation is now, rev/losses were for 2025, valuation in 2025 was a whole lot less than it is now for obvs reasons.)
"Hey guys, if I took AAPL's rev numbers from 1999 and compared to its current valuation in 2026, it looks BAD!"
I mean it's one thing to lie with statistics, i.e. cherrypicking the right numbers to lead you to the wrong conclusion, but usually that involves some kind of thinking. When it's so glaringly dumb, it's kinda hilarious.
(FYI Anthropic's actual current annual rev is pacing at $100B almost entirely on enterprise spend.)

The IPO is already going to be massively oversubscribed, it'll take every bit of stuff like this to keep the rest of the rabble out until it's too late. This is how it's gonna go down:

1. Oversubscribed IPO, your IPO Access request for 1000 shares gets you 50
2. Watch your 50 shares pop at opening bell
3. Watch the stock massively overshoot any sane valuation over the next few days, because the vast majority of shares are still locked up for a few more months + absolutely idiotic trading decisions driving by a mix of FOMO and what amounts to playing that game where you try to hold a burning match stick longer than the other guy.
4. Bubble finally pops and dives down before settling at around the original IPO price because it's already a profitable company with crazy growth (but the 10x days are behind it and the pre-IPO shareholders captured most of the value creation)
