I wish you were right. Unfortunately a moat isn’t a moat if all a competitor has to do is step in with one simple action, specifically throwing money at it and destroy the moat. The reason is because then anyone, including the company that lost market share can step in throw money at it and take the ‘moat’ back. No one is locked in. No one is loyal. They simply go to the subsidies and will chase them indefinitely. They are incentivized to do that and incentives drive behavior.
If meutian had a moat then the switching wouldn’t have occurred- thats the benefit of a moat. It’s precisely not a moat because people quickly and easily switched to BABA

Agreed. Only question is whether CCP will allow a duopoly, oligopoly in the long term. Look at how they broke up BABA and Tencent before and forcing them to open their "walled-gardens".
