B is the best but everything equal weight.
My portfolio is similar but I use Garp instead of CGDV and use COPY instead of AVUV and AVDV because it's momentum and value.
Mix currently is fmtm copy Garp still have spmo but may sell.

Cut all of them and just do VT what you have doesn't make sense.
Could also do VTI and VXUS but people are too biased with allocation. VT is perfect or keep them 50/50. Personally id rather invest in anything but the US but that's why I go global to eliminate bias.
VOO is just a top heavy large cap etf that lacks both size and international diversification.
QQQ is worse and limited to one exchange as well as holds bias against financials to add to it.
SCHD is decent but unless you have enough to make the dividends worth it I personally wouldn't. What you need if your looking for something safe to cushion is to buy a value etf. You can do Avuv and AVDV or avgv to take its place.

If you scroll to the top of this thread...i recommended
VOO 50%, AVUV 25%, VXUS 25%... and perhaps adjusting percentages to add some AVDV.

I kid, because of your username.
As a serious answer, I wouldn't add VXUS but consider DFIV, AVDV instead for ex-US exposure.
I don't know if you're a viewer of the "Investing Simplified" channel on YouTube but your current portfolio construction feels awfully like what the guy preaches. What is the point of concentrating in growth (QQQM) then also do defensives (SCHD)?
If I were you, I would swap everything to IVV for lower expense ratios, or just stop adding to VOO and use IVV going forth:
IVV 40%
DFIV 10%
AVDV 10%
I don't know what else is making up the remainder, but it may be important to consider what else you're holding to assess this holistically.

You should look into AVGV, an avantis ticker that’s a ‘fund of funds’ handling global value. Has roughly similar percentages to your AVLV and AVUV and AVDV AVEM… That’s what I use at least.

50/50 Growth/Value.
Examples:
50/50 IWY / AVUV
50/50 VUG / AVGV
50/25/25 IWY / AVUV / AVDV

IMO more than 20% between AVUV and AVDV is too much, I would limit them to 10% each.
I would probably recommend C except swapping some of the SPMO and FMTM for more VTI, instead keeping the momentum funds capped at 10% each as a satellite tilt.
The other commenter suggesting VT and chill is also a solid option, or you could do VT with some small satellites as well.

I do VOO and tilt with VGT, SPMO, QQQM, AVUV, AVDV, and IDMO. It’s been working for me.

I also love AVDV. Personally I do 5% in AVDV and 10% in AVUV

Doesn't have to be that high...I would prefer it though over the alternatives, considering the outlook of the US economy---the likelihood of entering into a bear economy and the push to lower rates early next year. Small Caps would benefit greatly over these bloated large caps in the S&P500 today. VXUS too does well in these situations, as it had these last couple years. I would also consider AVDV, as it's been one of my best performers during rough patches. Maybe because they invest in gold miners.

I will second, VXUS and if you want to tilt into small cap (bit more volatile) AVDV, is an Avantis product, multisector (diversification), value, international small cap (0.36% expense ratio)

I am one of them betting a sizeable portion of my portfolio. I'm giving it 15% when global market weight for US Small Cap is just 5%. Granted I'm not replacing anything as my strategy has been virtually the same since I started paying attention to this stuff. I am absolutely counting on the folks at Fidelity to know what they're doing. 0.28% fee? Not a big deal to me. My most expensive fund is AVDV at .36% that's when it starts to get expensive for me. I wouldn't invest in any individual ETF at .50% or above. Granted 70% of my portfolio is in SPYM and SCHF at just .02% and .03% respectively.
Basically, I'm making a bet that 50% SPYM and 15% FSEV is gonna outperform 65% SPTM/VTI over the next 30 years. Just gonna have to wait and see. On the international side it's 20% SCHF, 10% DFAE, and 5% AVDV.

Posters above specifically mentioned AVUV and AVDV, which are small cap value funds) in addition to VOO and VXUS, which are large cap or all cap funds; so I assume the suggestion was for small cap focus more than value.
AVES is a pure value fund and AVEE is small cap fund with a tilt toward value.
Unfortunately, Avantis does not offer a "pure" small cap value fund, you have to choose which factor is more important, small cap or value.
I go with AVEE, because while it doesn't tilt as *strongly* toward value as AVES, it does still tilt toward value, and it is definitely small cap; which goes well with my large and medium cap VEU investment.

Nothing. I love the Small Value funds (I have AVDV but FSEV for US, for now anyway) the mid cap momentum is an interesting bet. Any reason you went Dimensional for US and Avantis for International? Have you looked into the Avantis emerging markets small value fund AVEE? I don’t have it myself, I have DFAE which is more of a multifactor blend approach but definitely tilts to small value.
I keep asking more questions but I guess I’m curious about the weighting of the portfolio in general. You are 75% US, 25% international. Global market cap is 60-65% US, 35-40% international. Is the weight toward US stock a deliberate strategy?
The short answer is I’d make the ratio something in the ballpark of DFUS - 40%, XMMO - 10%, AVUV - 10%, AVNM - 30%, AVDV - 10%
Last question I promise as if I haven’t asked more than enough: have you seen the global active managed funds DFAW or AVGE??

The purpose of AVDV and AVUV is exposure to value factor and size factor but the value factor is far more important. AVES is value factor but not concentrated on size factor. AVEE is size factor but not concentrated on value factor.
Personally, I think value factor is more important here, so I’d choose AVES.

DFAW captures what you were trying to do with 2 ETFs. DFAT is US smid factor it lets you capture size and value and acorss both small and midcaps, which you were missing in your earlier allocation. You can do DFAW, VFMF (which is a US multi-factor, which lets you capture momemtum, min vol, value size and quality). And drop the other two (XSMO, XMMO). Similarly if you're trying to capture momentum you were missing small cap momemtum (XSMO). There isn't a clear substitute for AVDV hence I kept it. I am a quant btw.

Here is how I would simplyfy assuming you want to overweight momentum.
* **DFUS:** 36
* **VXUS :** 20
* **or DFAW** 56 (if you want simpler holding structure)
* **VFMF:** 20
* **AVDV:** 8
* **XMMO:** 7
* **XSMO:** 3
* **DFAT:** 6

I hold FSEV (US Small Value), AVDV (International Developed Markets Small Cap Value) and DFAE (Emerging Markets multifactor) on top of SPYM and SCHF because of Ben 😇

This is my Roth I don’t care to rebalance this. I plan to rebalance it one every year or twice a year. The complexity comes down to me wanting to hit every sector. Could I probably do fine with DFUS + AVUV + AVNM + AVDV instead? Sure.

You asked for a roast so here's what I got: you're 19 and been running this for the long term? What have you been investing since you're 1?
In all seriousness, I don't hate this. I'm a believer in investing towards the extremes provided it's sufficiently diversified and this done this in spades. My main actual criticism is I think there should be more large international exposure. The only serious international is AVDV which focuses on small caps. If you believe in momentum and large growth for big US stocks that should also apply to international. Yes, QQQM has some international exposure, but not as much as I'm comfortable with.
