In my portfolio,  ianthus. Bought a tiny amount when they were down 99% from ATH as a distressed acquisition target play, but they just kept drilling.

Multi billion dollar (read not small cap) AI infra darlings like NBIS and APLD losing half their value from ATH and bouncing +/- 30% week to week seems like a momentum trade that’s lost its mind. Straight bipolar. I blame SPCX personally

It's 16% down from ATH

CAVA isn't like SpaceX. It's not just about the % shares available for trading that increases. Investors in SpaceX that can sell will be at 100x profit. That's +10\_000% on their investment. Only WSB wouldn't sell that, at least partially.
Then there's the fact KOSPI is behaving like a kangaroo, the fact SpaceX won't be profitable without practically delusional achievements, Musk scamming his investors before, it went down 50% from ATH in 1 month, TSLA merger being borderline impossible due to US and China national security impact and to top it all off - it is in the public eye of literally everyone, IS amd WILL be used as an indicator whether the AI bubble will pop.
These are collosal amounts of fear, uncertainty and doubt and they're legitimate. There's 1% chance it skyrockets out of the solar system if the FUD don't cause a sell-off but everything points to mass sell-off.

about a 45% increase in MU will get us back to ATH. need 3 yesterdays with nothing in between 😲

having the markets always reach ATH is also not maintainable, at least.. not for the average person who does not invest.

'roars back' - though many big name stocks still down 20%+ from ATH. we've literally seen this before after the mega dump at the beginning of June - big rally up for afew days then down down down for several weeks. I'm traumatised from those events so I dont trust this rally atall.

Next stop ATH. The FUD is gone now that Citadel forced the margin call.

We're still climbing out of the dip. Semis still 15-20% down from ATH

Yeah i run similiar and testing right now but for stocks and for my algo: yes, 2022 and 2023 were flat until 2023 decided to climb by the end of the year but 2022 created my highest drawdown when 2021 declined from its ATH and 2022 could never recover this, yet still kind of aligning the markets i used as benchmark.
Unfortunately i don‘t know how top firms manage this kind of drawdown but knowing that they also need to manage this, makes me more confident that our strats are really like that.

Not all semis are the same. Some will reach ATH some to the ground.

If I swing calls this weekend 🥭definitely will invade Iran after weekends of doing nothing
But if I swing puts spy new ATH will hit Monday
