good choice, I am preparing for retirement and had some CC funds but realized I did not need them until I actually retire, if at all, and sold them. Note that 1/2 of my dividend portfolio, the core, is in SCHD and DGRO. The other half has investments like Realty Income, Mainstreet Capital, AMLP, ASGI, UTG, DIVO, and IDVO. DIVO and IDVO do use derivative income to boost returns but not as intense as funds like SPYI and JEPQ.

I'm 47M and just built a pretty tough dividend income portfolio imo, with a blended yield about 10%. It consists of QQQI, SPYI, MLPI, ASGI, NKX and PFFA. I think it all complements each other when different bear markets hit.
