In the IBKR mobile app, when placing an order:
**1.** Search for the stock and tap **Buy** or **Sell** to open the order ticket
**2.** In the order ticket, tap the **symbol/contract name** at the top (or look for a field labeled **Destination** or **Exchange**)
**3.** If the field isn’t visible, tap **Advanced** (or the “+” / more options) to expand additional order settings
**4.** Tap **Destination** — it defaults to **SMART** — and select the specific exchange (e.g., NYSE, NASDAQ, ARCA, IBIS) from the list
**5.** Complete the rest of the order and submit
