With our constantly expanding need for more and more data processing and storage, I am not really worried that we will make use of these datacentres no matter what.
There are also two alternative routes for this. Either a lot of people use the services and they get little processing power per person. For a few people are using it and they get large amounts of processing power per person. Maybe you’re not interested in generating 50 cat pictures per month but you might be interested in generating one AAA computer game every three months?

I mean, you had different economic conditions during likely your best earning years. The US had a trade surplus in 2001 and a manageable deficit until the 2008 financial crisis, which was then steadily walked down until Trump's first term and ballooned during COVID. The debt was ~$1T in the 80s, ~$5-10T in the early 2000s, and is now $38T, and the US debt even got downgraded so it's no longer AAA, signifying this is not sustainable. If this was 20 years ago, I'd agree with you, but with a $2T+ deficit, creditors (like China) will at some point stop loaning money, our debt payments (and interest payments) will balloon (they already are, it's like 13% of the federal budget is interest), making federal taxes shoot way up. It's a political point no president wants to touch and just keeps moving until we get screwed in 10-15 years and federal taxes rates go through the roof.

Ich denke es läuft auf zweiteres hinaus. Alles geht jetzt so weiter bis zu dem Punkt, an dem ein Haushalt schlichtweg nicht mehr realisierbar & "Sondervermögen" wegen dem Rating & der Zinslast auch keine (temporäre) "Lösung" mehr ist.
Wirtschaftswunder damit es so weitergehen kann wie bisher? Ich hege starke Zweifel.
Da werden rein die Zahlen irgendwann unumstößliche Fakten schaffen = demographischer Wandel, die weiterhin steigenden Abgaben, das AAA Rating (ist ja auch nicht in Stein gemeißelt) usw.

Das ist aber nicht mündelsicher? Wie schließt Du aus, dass der Bruder OP nicht in 4 Jahren in Regress nimmt, sollte der Fonds dann auf -20% stehen?
Ich würde jetzt nicht versuchen, für den Bruder risikolos Rendite zu generieren und es für die nächsten 4 Jahre in DBX0AN stecken oder AAA Staatsanleihen.
Oder mich wirklich gut beraten lassen. was ich sonst noch darf.

Eigentlich schon aufm PC. Indiespiele und Sales sind eher günstig und AAA gibt's wenn nur über den alternativen Download. Solange man sich nicht die Bibliothek mit 100 Spielen vollhaut die man eh nicht zockt geht das

Mortgage backed securities were the first to collapse that time because they were whe actual fraud was.  Once a few bad mortgages failed, the bonds that were made up of bonds started to fail.  They were all AAA rated, and prices and insured as such.  They took everything down with them.
What's fraudulent today is the short positions.  Covered by bullet swaps or DOOMPs or simply naked short sales marked as long, massive positions meant to drive a $4 stock to $0 are still alive.  That stock is now reliably over $80 (pre split) and profitable.  And they're digging their graves deeper to survive on more day.
