For an average person, it's a lot easier for them to lose money on buying real estate than it is for them to lose money buying VOO in any time horizon you can name.

It's also easier for people to lose shit tons of money (as in more than their entire equity) buying real estate than it is for them to lose shit tons of money buying and holding VOO.
It's easier for people to destroy the value of their investment when buying real estate than it is for them to destroy the value of their VOO. Many people do renovations that REDUCE the value of their house. This is more the norm than the exception.
I'm not talking about any out of the ordinary strategy, I'm just talking about buy and hold on both ends.
Stocks aren't less of a free market economy than housing is, either. Stocks are much more of a free market than housing is. Housing is WAY more manipulated to slant it against poor people than the stock market is.
I don't really care about your level of confidence in anything. I just care about facts.

Dude. There's NO WAY someone who is down and out like that would spend their last dollars on a shirt term options trade. Why would someone do that? They are 99.99% likely to lose everything. That doesn't make any sense.

Got this offer and though sweet I’ll get 1/10 oz for WAY under spot. Well you gotta spend $5000 minimum on Kitco’s end. But if you are in that price range check your rewards, it’s generally not usable for Bullion but this seems to be an exception.

While I am 100% CMPS this is news to me and very good news at that.
Realistically speaking, I think one of the biggest hurdles for psychedelic companies is political interference at FDA or from the White House. One of my only worries with CMPS was that the Administration would supersede a non-American company with the most quality asset and data in support with an American one. While seemingly crazy to ponder, anyone paying close enough attention should agree that this is not out of the realm of possibilities. Heck we might see ibogaine approved WAY earlier than it should be because RFK Jr. is such a fan.
So…learning just now tthat Helus is a Canadian company is, in my opinion, very big news for CMPS bag holders. There is no company as close to CMPS as Helus, and you could make the argument that the Administration has way more serious problems with Canada right now than they do with the UK.
Furthermore, if the Administration is looking to score political points from approving the first traditional psychedelic (can’t blame them for this instinct), it would be way more logical to approve the asset that:
1. Is furthest along and the most risk-averse / meticulous in their approach
2. Is from a country the President has way less issues with at the moment
3. Has the most presentable CEO, most stable last several years, and most robust trials.

I only have a small portion of MSTR so basically all my capital is in Bitcoin itself. Since I haven’t started as early as you, I’m focusing on accumulating as much as I can before it permanently stays in the 6 figure range.
