Take-Two Interactive (NASDAQ: TTWO) stock traded around **$10.54** one year before the launch of Grand Theft Auto V, rose to **$17.67** on launch day in September 2013, and climbed to **$23.42** one year after the launch.
Past performance does not guarantee future performance but I’m guessing we will see a bump once everyone sees how much in game currency they are selling.

I wouldn't hold any gaming companies after a few months ago with TTWO and GOOGL. Google released some Ai that could supposed create games off of prompts. TTWO, with what will 100% be the best selling video game of all time dropped 8% in one day off the news.
This sector is super sensitive when there's bad news, and medium beta in good market conditions. Avoid.

I currently have a bet with my brother, he thinks TTWO will go up 20% on release and after this Netflix showing, I believe it’s priced in and if anything priced for absolute perfection. I bet $1000 that it ends up lower than it is now.
We shall see which retard prevails.

I think you’re supposed to buy Sony instead of TTWO

I was in the same spot as you. I figured one tends to overthink. I am no expert, but if I had to start again, I'd just put it all in VOO and forget I even have the money there.
Now, if I wanted to make a quick buck, I'd probably invest in TTWO (\~230/share) and sell when it gets to 250 (although it is estimated they could get up to 280 per share) in the next couple days when the extended reveal drops on Netflix. Either that, or the price per share could keep plummeting due to the leaks.

TTWO Thoughts?

I have TTWO leaps expiring end of Dec 2027. Also started positions on SONY in the last 2 months as they’ve started to end physical discs and is transitioning into the next phase of AI - robotics.
But otherwise been in NVDA, INTC and AMD forever.

Any TTWO investors?
Feel like them doing well is priced in but doing really really well not so much. They haven't raised their guidance for GTA VI year too.

I expect TTWO to go up after GTA6 comes it. Especially if it gets game of the year.

Have some of TTWO because of the upcoming gta6, but the stock isn't matching the hype of the game (and sales so far)
