ETF in the stock market. The Roth you both max and the funds in your husbands TSP are already being invested in the market I would hope so you’re already exposed to the stock market.
Taking the money from the CD to an ETF doesn’t put you into any new investment, it just reallocates your total to be more stock market and less Treasury.

**I need you all’s help! My husband (26M) has a yearly salary of $73,900/year. Me (35F) has a yearly salary of ($280,000/year). We both max out our Roth. We have a mortgage $3494.69/month that we pay 1/2 every 2 weeks. We have a car payment $635.34 that we pay that full amount every 2 weeks. We have $67,000 in emergency savings. We have $309,483 in bank CDs. He’s a federal employee contributing 8% to his TSP, I work for a state university and contribute 13% to my ASRS. I just switch my other major job and have to wait 6-8 months to contribute to 401k. However I have a traditional IRA with over $150k in there. And I have my old job 401k with $41,000 in it. My husband’s TSP is a little new and maybe has about $20k in it. Are we doing the right things? Should I invest these CD money instead? I’m not much of a risk taker but I want the money to make us money. We have a son (21 months) we started his college fund with $25k and we contribute $250 a month to it. We’re looking to retire once he turns 50 and I’m 58. Will we be ok?**

You are confusing the catchup amounts for the different types of retirement accounts.
The $1100 catchup is only pertinent to your annual IRA contribution limit (combined between Traditional and Roth). For 2026, the total contribution limit is $8600.
401k, 403(b), TSP, etc., have an $8000 catchup limit for those over 50 in 2026. Those in the 60-63 window have a “super catchup” of $11,250 for 2026.
Remember, the normal contribution limits and the catchup provisions are subject to increase every year based on annual cost of living adjustments based on inflation.

If rolling TSP over to existing IRA, beneficiaries information also transferred over?

Hey! 👋
First off, thanks for considering Fidelity for your account move. I'd be more than happy to provide resources to help you feel as confident as possible about the rollover process from a Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) to Fidelity.
You can initiate a rollover of your TSP to Fidelity by following these steps:
1. Open a Fidelity rollover IRA: If you don't have an IRA with Fidelity yet, you'll need to open one. This will be the account where your TSP funds will be transferred
2. Contact the TSP: Reach out to the TSP to start the rollover process. They may require forms, such as a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from Fidelity, or other paperwork signed by you or Fidelity
3. Move your money: You can have the TSP send the rollover check directly to Fidelity or deposit it yourself. If the check is made payable to you, make sure to deposit it into your Fidelity IRA within 60 days to avoid taxes and penalties
I also included a link below, which outlines the steps above in greater detail. I know it's not a specific article for only TSPs, but they follow the same general rules, so it's a great place to start.

Next up, you mentioned that you are looking into converting a 401(k) to a Roth. I wanted to make you aware of Fidelity's Roth conversion calculator, linked below. This can be used to estimate the taxes you might owe when converting a 401(k) or Traditional IRA to a Roth IRA. I also included a resource about conversions you may find helpful.

I know that this was a lot of info, but please let us know if we can help out with anything else!

The guide to ETFs, especially the screener tooled and costs related to ETFs were very helpful!

I am looking into converting 401k to Roth and would like to see a calculator for that. Apologies if I’ve overlooked if

Within rollovers, I’d like to see a sections specifically for rollovers from Thrift Savings Plan to Fidelity. I have been interested in moving my money out of TSP for a long but it is different than a traditional rollover and I need supporting documentation to be confident.
