Edwards lifesciences (EW): best quality products and strongest customer relationships and trust
VRTX: hard to beat their cystic fibrosis portfolio
LeMaitre: these guys operate in the vascular access space. They have niche vascular portfolios which generally have 2-3 players. They don’t do internal innovation and usually acquire. They will typically acquire the market leader. With a broad portfolio, they have a moat with contracting.
Less in the traditional sense but in my eyes TNDM: seen by many insulting pump users as having the best algorithm. As such, the future is headed towards more closed loop systems. Best in class algo should allow for better performance
