Could have replaced the above with just one statement. Buy SPY, QQQ and let it sleep.

I'm thinking of loading up tons of QQQ puts and maybe on a few data-center names (CRWV,SPCX, etc) on election day.
If Dems end up winning the House and Senate, I think there is going to be a perception that they will be a hindrance to the data center buildout (whether or not that is true). I personally think they won't cause too much damage, because both sides are bought and sold whores. Most of them spend their time day-trading and I am sure they don't want their stocks to go to shit.
But tactically, short term, I could see that narrative pushing stocks down.

I like to factor in RSI, Fear and Greed Index, and Moving Averages...SPY and QQQ being the benchmark.

Mathematically you're probably ahead running on a Bitcoin standard but your taxes are marginally more complex. Each bill is a taxable event.
Benefits: you can use highest in first out cost basis method to harvest losses and reduce your taxable income.
Con: if a bill comes out during a flash down you end up spending more on it, but the opposite is also true. You may sell into strength.
Personally I hold ~3 months expenses in cash, 3 months expenses in VOO/VTI/QQQ, 3 months expenses/fun money in iBit and/or "digital credit" products.
That's simplifies the tax structure and gives me layered liquidity. I never have to sell actual BTC and instead sell from my brokerage account.

1) The simpler you keep it the better the chance of success.
2) Profitable trading is actually a very boring and slow. It requires patience . It will not give you thrills
3)It’s very difficult to beat buy and hold for stocks like SPY and QQQ.
4) Here’s a Simple Strategy. Divide your capital into 3 parts. Keep one part in cash and the remaining two invest in SPY and QQQ. When ever the day is green sell 1/4 of your green stock and when the day is red buy the stock with 1/4 of your cash bucket. Keep doing this and you will find success. A price move of 5 dollars above yesterday’s close is considered green and any price move of 5 dollars below yesterday’s close is considered red. ‘A bird in hand is worth two in the bush’. If you see a 5$. green take it. If it then gives you a ten$ green take that too. Same for the reds.

That said, I could do simply covered calls on SPY/QQQ and make enough to do this for a living
But I enjoy my job and enjoy the perks of having a w2 income
To answer the rest of your questions: there is no average. It varies. Roughly 1.5% of the portfolio per month the last year.
How long it took? It’s more about how much your starting capital is, rather than experience
How many hours per week? Like…. 4 hours per week lol.

I am freshly 22 years old. I have a decent risk tolerance. I currently have 12k in a brokerage account between these stocks (Palantir, VOO, QQQ, Clorox, Nike, Uber and Netflix)
I’m looking at long time hold on those stocks. I have 48k in a Money Market account giving me about 3.5%. I also have another 20k in liquid cash. Zero debt. Car is paid off and have no other expenses besides car insurance. I have been doing research on dividend paying stocks and wanted to get some real advice from real people. What would be the difference if let’s say I got a good position in a dividend paying stock like Clorox. I make whatever the stock itself gives me in a return. On top of that my shares give me 6% annually. Wouldn’t this be a slam dunk? I’m very good at saving money and just want the money I have right now to continue giving me more. What are your thoughts?

Cool. How did that work out for Micron? Or Samsung? Or SK Hynix?
We're in a bear market. Trust me, I want to be bullish, and all my calls down 90% remind me why I should just accept reality and follow the price action instead of hoping for the best.
I bought puts Friday even after the huge overnight dip, still made 400% on Rddt and 200% on QQQ on just part of the tiny daily move after the big crashes.
Waiting around hoping things recover after such massive overnight crashes and holding at a massive loss is a good choice if you have unlimited money coming in from other sources and unlimited time to wait for a recovery.

I've been looking at these too but boringly I think its still better just to put it in VOO or QQQ. Plus I don't really know if investing in Chinese companies is a good idea.

I have not seen any options positioning that indicates stealth accumulation. There was a put wall at 700 on QQQ but price broke down anyway. Do you have any examples?

Give me the QQQ gains from 2001 to 2012.
Fucking lol

If you bought QQQ near/at the peak of the Dotcom bubble, it took you almost 13 years to break even.
But ya, go off on your 2 year historical chart. Lol

If you want to be really safe, put half of it in a high interest CD, and half in the market. The CD market is getting better with this equity market problems. You could put all of it into a 1 or 2 year one, and wait for the market to stabilize. Then cash out and buy some ETF’s like VOO, VTI, QQQ. Hold them in a ROTH Account.

Imagine basing your decisions only on a timeline that excludes the two largest financial crises in our lifetimes and what the NASDAQ did in that time frame.
For reference, after the dot com bubble, it took QQQ nearly 16 years to recover to its pre-bubble price. If someone put their retirement funds in it just before the bubble, they would be unable to retire for close to 2 decades.

QQQ bounced off the 200 day on Friday. I'd expect nothing other than a bounce on Monday.
