The ……W117 is the CUSIP.
The Oct 2 OCC adjustment memo update added the GME WS CUSIP
So GameStop got the CUSIP 10/2 or earlier.

There is some confusion about the price of warrants, because some non-US brokers are assigning some arbitrary prices to the warrants.
The options adjustment memo has a 95/5 split in value between the deliverables of 100 share of GME and 10 warrants, but says that allocation is only for transaction between OCC and NSCc (I think for calculating collateral for open settlements). The OCC memo specifically said that is not to be used for transactions for for assigning value in customer statements, but that appears to be what some non-US brokers are doing.
IBKR in Europe is using a price of $13.61 for the warrants, which is 1/2 of the Oct 2 $27.22 closing price. That would make 10 warrants have a total value of 5% of 100 shares of GME.
Another broker is showing a slightly lower price.
Both of those are far above what I would expect the market price of a warrant to be, which is roughly the same as an Oct 2026 $32 strike call, which is around $5.
That is if there are no big surprises in the 8-A12B that GameStop has not filed yet, and which they can delay until 9:30AM n Tuesday. Early exercise provisions might reduce the value a bit below $5 price of the 10/16/2026 $32C option. Lots of GME price volatility could raise the IV, thereby raising the warrant price a bit, but I do not see $13.61 as being reasonable.

Optionen = US, für 100 Aktien, jederzeit ausübbar

The $13.61 appears to come from the OCC adjustment allocation for collateral purposes.
https://preview.redd.it/hms0v7cdjzsf1.jpeg?width=1627&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bb9fe6932d1da51bfa60e12193c3b5ff9a0db1fb
The close on Thursday was $27.22. Divide that in half to get $13.61, which makes the ca,ie of the co tr@ct deliverables roughly 95%/5%.
Note that the OCC says:
>THE ALLOCATION OF THE AGGREGATE STRIKE PRICE AMOUNT IS BEING PROVIDED SOLELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE INTERFACE BETWEEN OCC AND THE NATIONAL SECURITIES CLEARING CORPORATION (NSCC), AND **IS NOT INTENDED TO BE USED FOR ANY OTHER PURPOSE, TRANSACTION OR CUSTOMER ACCOUNT STATEMENTS.**

You obviously did not read the agreements.
Options contracts are adjusted per the existing rules and contracts.
Regular dividends are ignored, but options contracts will be adjusted for splits, spin-offs, special large one time cash dividends, subscriptions rights, and warrants.
https://infomemo.theocc.com/infomemos?number=57372 is the updated OCC memo that shows the CUSIP of the warrants, explains the renaming if options chains, and also the change in deliverables to include 10 warrants.

Because you are receiving the warrants after agreeing to sell the shares, therefore you'd owe the buyer those warrants that go with the shares.
There was a notice sent out by the OCC on this very topic shortly after GameStop announced the dividend.

GME options were adjusted today to GME1 options due to the warrants being issued.
See this OCC memo,

The new standard options aren't out yet, but the adjusted options are actively trading today. Some brokers seem to have trouble with adjusted options on the first day they trade. Not sure if IB is one of them.

Hey there, u/Ok_Guidance4571. Thanks for your patience while I looked into some of the details you've shared; I know u/FidelityNicholas has offered some insight earlier today, and I see you got in touch with us by phone as well, but I just want to offer some clarification.
Options contracts may be adjusted due to a variety of corporate actions, including a special dividend like the one recently announced by GameStop (GME). Whenever the standardized terms for an options contract have changed as the result of a corporate action, the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) adjusts the contracts to account for this.
[Read more about options contract adjustments: What you should know](https://www.fidelity.com/learning-center/investment-products/options/contract-adjustments)
As u/FidelityNicholas called out, these adjusted GME options contracts now include 10 GameStop warrants (GME WS) as part of the deliverables for the contract, effective October 3rd, 2025. The warrants will be part of the deliverables for the adjusted contracts until the warrants expire. In other words, you would receive warrants for your long shares per the terms of the special dividend, but if you're assigned on a short covered call, you would deliver both the warrants and shares to the contract holder.
For more details about adjustments, clients can generally research a symbol on the OCC's website. That said, in the event you wish to open or close a contract while these adjustments are taking place and you are unable to do so online, associates are available by phone to assist you. As mentioned, our Active Trader team is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ET.

How tf is this upvoted?  We had the DD on this.  The OCC distributed this information.
GME WS is the ticker for the warrants.  GME1 is the ticker for call options that include warrants.
So OP owned call options and they are converted to be GME1 options that include shares and the corresponding warrants.
He’ll get his GME WS warrants around 10/7.

The options were adjusted today to represent the new warrants. The option symbol changed to GME1.
Here is the OCC memo explaining,

The adjusted options are actively trading today, although some brokers seem to have issues sometimes on the first day of an adjustment. Guessing on Monday you will see everything correctly.

Apes, we just entered a new chapter. 🦍🍿
* 📜 **Special Dividend:** For every 10 shares, you get **1 warrant**.
* 💰 **Exercise Price:** $32, valid until **Oct 30, 2026**.
* 💵 If all warrants are exercised, GME could raise **up to $1.9 BILLION** in capital.
* 🔄 **Options Impact:** OCC confirmed — contracts adjust to **GME1** starting today. Deliverables = GME shares **+ warrants**.
**Why this matters:**
* Shareholders get *free upside exposure*.
* Warrants = more liquidity for GME if exercised.
* Options chain just got even more complex (potential for wild volatility).
Yes, dilution is a thing — but only if exercised. Until then, they’re a loaded gun pointed at shorts. 🎯
📈 TLDR: Warrants = rocket fuel waiting to ignite. Shorts have a new problem.
🚀 Diamond hands till the end.

While similar, these are not actual options. The OCC has nothing to do with the warrants and won't count them towards OI.

Make note of this. Whenever your option position is adjusted due to some corporate action -- like a split, merger, spinoff, special dividend, etc., -- do a google search like this:
theocc XXX option adjustment
Replace "XXX" with the ticker of your option. Usually the first or second search result will be an OCC option adjustment memo. When I do this for THTX, I get this memo:
https://infomemo.theocc.com/infomemos?number=57294
The gist of the memo is that the exercise deliverable for option contracts is now $3.01/share in cash. You can no longer exercise for shares.
Since your strike price is $5, you would be paying $5/share in cash to get back $3.01/share in cash, which is a $1.99/share loss. That is why your calls are worthless, because no one would pay $500 in order to receive $301.
You don't have to "Remove" the calls from your account. Just leave them there and they will disappear after the expiration date.

Options are frozen today ha def not a RC thing. The OCC’s delay in settling GME1 transactions until the warrants’ trading status is confirmed contributes to the temporary halt. subsequent adjustments made by the OCC. They put these measures in to ensure accurate pricing and settlement of options contracts in light of the new warrants. Once the adjustments are complete and the warrants’ trading status is confirmed, trading in the adjusted options (GME1) is expected to resume.

The options need to be updated to include the warrants.  It probably just takes some time.  This is what happens when you release warrants and the OCC says options will change to include warrants instead of just stock.  They need to correct them in the systems.  With today being the date of record it seems completely normal.

Just noticed something strange (Swissquote broker). All of my GME calls (JAN26 25C / 30C / JUN26 40C / 50C, etc.) suddenly showed multiple "Corporate Action" entries — positions being subtracted and re-added at $0.00.
Looks like it’s tied to the upcoming warrant dividend, and my broker is remapping contracts. Net exposure seems unchanged, but it raised the question:
Has anyone else seen this adjustment on their options yet?
Do we know if OCC is going to issue a new adjusted series (like GME1 = 100 shares + warrants), or are contracts staying as-is?
Not financial advice, just making sure this is standard procedure.
Diamond hands still strong 💎🙌🚀

Whenever a company issues warrants, preferred stock conversions, splits, dividends, or other corporate actions, the OCC adjusts existing options contracts so that holders are not unfairly disadvantaged (or advantaged).

The long-term investment landscape has fundamentally shifted. The SEC’s rescission of Staff Accounting Bulletin 121 (SAB 121) in January 2025 opened the institutional floodgates by removing the capital barrier that prevented major, regulated banks from holding crypto for clients. This means digital assets are now moving from a speculative category to a mandatory risk and diligence category.
1) The New Risk Floor: This institutional entry dramatically lowers the systemic risk profile for investors, meaning the barriers for large pools of capital (pensions, endowments) to justify entry are crumbling. The question is no longer if they should invest, but when.
2) Tokenization as Portfolio Standard: Tokenized products are expected to shed their niche status and become standard menu items in mainstream portfolios by the end of 2025. This includes new RWA products like treasury-backed tokens that major banks are poised to offer directly to institutional clients.
3) The Diligence Race: The current strategic challenge is the immediate race by major bank custodians to secure written non-objection from the FDIC, OCC, and Federal Reserve. Diligence must now include assessing which banks are best positioned to capture this regulated first-mover advantage.
What's your take? As an investor, is the biggest risk now missing out on the early, regulated RWA offerings, or is the lack of alignment among the FDIC and OCC still too large a regulatory uncertainty?

The OCC memorandum says "CC will delay settlement of the GME WS component of GME1 exercise/assignment activity until the trading status of the warrants is determined. Upon determination of the warrants’ trading status, OCC will require Put exercisers and Call assignees to deliver the appropriate number of warrants.".
As warrants won't be tradeable until tuesday when they are distributed, tomorrow executions shouldn't carry warrants with them
