BTC is the future of world currency. It's the last easily tracked way to spend money on illegal things. It literally leaves a trace of every transaction from inception to when it ends up in an exchange to be converted to "Fiat" where government can require the exchanges to provide the owner's KYC information. If this is not private, I don't know what is.
It's also a store of value though. This is especially important since nobody wanted Bitcoin to be the future world currency. If you had purchased BTC with conviction last September, this technology would have stored roughly 50% of your moneys value whereas SPY would have only stored 115%.
I think the most revolutionary approach that normies don't understand is that MSTR has created a brilliant strategy to leverage the non believers stupidity into more BTC. It's a proxy and therefore has stored a whopping 30% of it's value.
This is the future. You guys are just idiots.

I’m glad they got their losses done early before they had real money to lose. BTC has no thesis. Resist but it because they expect it to go up. People trade in it because they live in countries with high inflation or they are criminals, but you can’t hold it because it can lose >50% of its value in a year. Prediction markets have eaten the former and stable coins are eating the latter.
You couldn’t pay me to hold BTC. The only reason it still exists id to give investors a solid thesis to short MSTR.

My main concern is that this is being described as diversified when it is really a stack of aggressive tilts. Momentum, small-cap value, EM and MSTR can all have a very rough stretch at the same time, so I would first decide what the boring core is supposed to be. If this is just the satellite piece around a broad-market base, fine, but if this is the whole portfolio, I would simplify it a lot.

Everyone should have the market beta. Either the total US market (VTI) or s&p 500 (VOO) + diversified ex-us (VXUS, though I'm also a fan of AVDV), or total world market (VT)
You're without a market beta here. If you have it in your 401k, then disregard, but everyone should have it. And an SP500 momentum fund doesn't count.
You should dump that MSTR holding. Even if you do like bitcoin (which, you probably shouldn't), just own it through a bitcoin ETF or directly. There's no point in holding MSTR, and that ship looks ripe for sinking.

Been using this strategy for a while now. It has performed pretty well, but I don’t know if it’s good enough for the future.
The thesis is pretty simple: combine U.S. momentum (SPMO/FMTM), international small-cap value (AVDV), emerging markets (EMEQ), and a small asymmetric Bitcoin allocation (MSTR) to capture multiple long-term return drivers rather than relying on a single market factor.

Buy MSTR. When Bitcoin gets to $100k you money will be at least 300% instead of only 166%

I was debating full porting into MSTR LEAPS on thursday. I went in with about a third of my portfolio instead. The rest is in 2x ETH, SOL, and XRP ETF's.
