I don't usually watch videos, and I didn't watch this one.
But the idea that something has changed in the last 40 years is absolute b.s., in my opinion. The correlations have always been the same, because markets haven't changed. We just have a ton of information now that we didn't have before and a lot more computing power so everything is more transparent.
Every iShares bond fund I have looked at has a beta to equity. The ones I have looked at all have positive betas.
[AGG](https://www.ishares.com/us/products/239458/ishares-core-total-us-bond-market-etf) is .32.
[IEF ](https://www.ishares.com/us/products/239456/ishares-710-year-treasury-bond-etf) is .34.
[TLT](https://www.ishares.com/us/products/239454/ishares-20-year-treasury-bond-etf) is .66.
[HYG](https://www.ishares.com/us/products/239565/ishares-iboxx-high-yield-corporate-bond-etf) is .46.
[ISIG](https://www.ishares.com/us/products/239460/ishares-credit-bond-etf) is .40.
The idea that bonds are negatively correlated to stocks has never been true. The idea things have changed because of fed actions is not supported by any real evidence, IMO.
