Most people are on TOS or IBKR for actual execution, webull if youre starting out. For charting a lot of folks use TradingView. The scanner side is where it gets personal though, I use Volume Surge for catching momentum before it gets crowded. But really the broker matters less than having a setup you dont fiddle with mid-trade

Thank you, now I have an idea, I’m giving it a try I just found out that when I initiated it from IBKR it doesn’t actually triggers the transfer from Avanza side, I also need to reach out to them separately. So I already lost a week. But I’ll get there.

Since we're discussing this, I have a question... I use IBKR, so is the ATM IV for the option what most follow and analyzed, or the strike price of the option most important, or both. Thanks for any advise anyone can provide.

Keeping IBKR for execution and separating the feed sounds reasonable given the gateway issues you've described. Compare the total cost for your actual exchanges and symbols, including non-display use in the bot. Also test reconnect behavior and how missing updates are handled. A feed that looks good In a quiet session can behave very differently at the open. SpiderRock has US equity and feature feeds, so it belongs on a professional setup's comparison list. It's client eligibility and pricing would need checking first; a $100k account alone doesn't establish that fit. There is no reason to assume it Will beat the monthly prices you've already found.

Use common sense. It's a data glitch due to the super low price of this stock. I don't want to waste my time figuring out why so I asked AI
1. Why Is IBKR Showing a \~97,000% Dividend Yield?Dividend yield formula:$$\\text{Dividend Yield} = \\frac{\\text{Annual Dividend Per Share}}{\\text{Current Stock Price}}$$The astronomically high yield on KLMR (KLM Royal Dutch Airlines OTC ADR) is caused by two data distortion issues:Ultra-Low Penny Stock Price: KLMR trades on the OTC market at a fraction of a cent (e.g., $0.001 per share).Stale or Historical Payout Data: KLMR paid an annual dividend (around $0.83 to $0.97 per share) in past years. When financial algorithms divide a historical dividend of \~$0.97 per share by a micro-penny share price like $0.001, the mathematical result is an inflated yield (\~97,000%).2. Would Buying Shares Today Yield $1.94 Million? No.Yield is a ratio, not a guaranteed return: Dividend yield is a descriptive metric based on historical payouts, not a contractually guaranteed interest rate. The payout amount is fixed per share: A $0.97/share dividend pays $0.97 per share, regardless of how cheap the stock becomes. If a company's stock drops to $0.001 due to financial distress or liquidations, the company does not keep paying historic dividend levels—the dividend gets cut or eliminated.

IBKR is showing KLMR with an approximately 97,000% dividend yield.
If I invest $2,000 right now, does that theoretically mean I could receive around $1.94 million in annual dividends?
This obviously seems too good to be true. Am I misunderstanding how dividend yield is calculated?
Is this based on a historical one-time payment rather than an upcoming dividend? Are there specific ex-dividend dates or eligibility cutoffs?
Would buying shares today qualify me for the next payout, or is there something I'm missing?
Would appreciate someone explaining how this actually works before I make a decision.

Let me try with an example. Say you build a strategy that for whatever reason, decides to sell and then a minute later buy. or vice versa.. it's automated algorithmic and it might be doing it's own accounting for each side. but to the broker it's a buy & a sell on the same asset within a minute.
Alpaca is great at API. Their order API is well thought and you have GUIDs etc.. you can pull trades & executions from 30 days ago with just one call. Data is consistent. But then if you google "alpaca wash trade"; you'll find people bitching about the execution because when you sell & buy quickly, it trigger's alpaca's wash trade system which prevents the order from going thru. Apparently, it's super sensitive.
Now we come to IBKR. you want to pull an order execution that happened 3-4 days ago? tough luck. You'll have to build flex queries and then call them and hope you get enough details. There's orderID and parentID, but sometimes for shits & giggles, IBKR will give you a filled order's childID without the parentID. You have to keep your own ledgers mapping them. sometimes IBKR will tell you there's no pending orders only to return them in the next API call.
execution however? remember that buy/sell? it can send your buy and sell to different exchanges so they don't break the "wash trade rule".

Back in September I posted a free, open source trading journal I built. It's had a lot of updates since, so here's what changed.
What makes it different from other journals: you don't fill in forms. You write your day the way you'd tell a friend, and the AI pulls out the strategy, stop, R, emotion and mistakes and matches them to the actual trade from your broker import. It runs on your own computer with no account. Your trades and notes stay in a local database.
What's new
\- Exit Lab: replays your stock trades on one-minute prices with other exits (1R, 2R, hold to close or your own rules), so you can see what a different exit would have done, per trade and across all of them.
\- Leak Finder: ranks the groups of trades that cost you money, using only what you knew when you entered, so every leak is something you could have skipped.
\- Seven more brokers import directly: Tradovate, NinjaTrader, TopstepX, Webull, tastytrade, TradeStation and Power E\*TRADE. Thinkorswim and IBKR were already in, and the CSV template still covers everyone else.
\- Four themes, if the default dark look isn't your thing.
\- Mac and Linux setup scripts, and a one-command Docker install.
The new brokers are beta. If you trade on one of them and give it a try, let me know how it went, here or on GitHub.

If I had a choice, I wouldn’t choose T212 or IBKR. That’s my opinion.
IBKR mobile app is truly horrible. Worse than 212 App in every way.
Some ETFs that you an buy in an ISA on T212, cannot be purchased on IBKR because they do not allow them.

Worth a check against IBKR.

T212 uses IBKR under the hood so it’s only possible that T212 adds risk on top of IBKR. IBKR is the objectively correct answer

In IBKR if you play SPY and you don’t have the underlaying money they just sell if you’re ITM and give you the gains. If you’re OTM near or at expiration they just expire worthless and you lose the prime you paid for the options.
If you buy options the loss is under control if you sell the lose is potentially unlimited.
With that said I bought 10 SPY760@11/9 contracts for total of $40. The theoretical P&L is around 3K at 760. So yeah this are 99,99% lottery tickets ..

First of all, it is much less user friendly than GoTrade. You kinda need to get used to it before everything clicks. I started with GoTrade too but when I checked how much money I’m losing just from trading/fx fees, IBKR is significantly cheaper when you start trading/buying with size.
Whatever you do, start small and get used to buying/selling stocks just so you know how everything works. Most ppl would recommend just buying VOO and chill but I tend to take a more active approach in investing so I’m more comfortable now with its other features

Transitioning from paper trading to a live account is a major step, and your choice of broker depends heavily on your asset class and geographical jurisdiction.
If you are trading US equities or futures, regulated brokers like Interactive Brokers (IBKR), Tradovate, or Charles Schwab integrate seamlessly with TradingView and offer robust execution without predatory hidden fees. Avoid shady offshore CFD brokers that advertise massive leverage but trap your withdrawals when you try to pull out profits.
Make sure your broker's order routing and commission structure align with your strategy before funding your live account.

I can access it just fine without VPN. I have the mobile app and also the IBKR desktop app, works with no issues.

I heard that IBKR is banned in the country? Is their app accessible?

You don’t use IBKR because its apps. You use it despite them.
I’ve been a client for almost 10 years and I have to tell you - it gets worse with time. They are just not a 21st century company.

42, bin in Bulgarien.

I’m Australian and I trade options with IBKR and I’ve never had an issue with withdrawals or updating details such as addresses and bank details. I don’t think it’ll be an issue.
