That doesn't make Standard Charter a frontier market company though. Their HQ being in the UK makes SCA a developed market company even though they operate in frontier markets.

I usually follow big game companies and invest whenever the core game IP hasnt changed, and buy on irrelevant drama. Gamers dont care about politics. Ive done some decent swing trading on this and have made money on companies like Activision/Blizzard. No one who plays WoW cares if the employees at Blizz HQ are drinking breast milk from the lunchroom fridge.

L-1 -> H-1B is the most stable and best route, companies are refraining from applying H1b until you have boots on the ground these days. O1 is a long shot and it usually goes through an employer. Everytime you switch jobs on O1, you send a renewed petition so it's reviewed everytime part of reason why people move on to H1 after O1. O1 is expensive you end up spending around 13k on applications and all IDK if it involves the lawyer fees as well, but company usually pays for it if you have it go through a company's route. I assume as a quant you'd have enough money to afford an individual consultation with outside counsel about this. This is not a promotion but Lighthouse HQ have had few of my friends O1 approved as agents I think. Look into that also it is a pain in the ass collecting all the evidence, I think most simple path for you is to take a L1 and hope to get H1. You're always gonna be tied to your employer if it is not H1, also in that you are it's just job change flexibility is higher.

Or price. Or customer service. Or keeping locations open that have been part of communities for decades.
Things are going great over at Rehead Hamburger HQ.

Good one!
Their problem is, ironically, semiconductors. Because of the RAM/NAND supply problems, phone makers are making less phones, which means less QCOM chips. Their new laptop chips? Also nuked for the same reason. They have really failed to produce decent server chips, but they are trying.
I used to dev on their platforms and have been in their San Diego HQ building several times to work with engineers. Their culture is really toxic. I have a lot of sympathy with their legal shenanigans though, because of how China/Taiwan works. Crazy industry. You pretty much need an army of lawyers or actual violent goons kneecapping your competitors to win.
