New investor here, in early 30s with moderate risk appetite. I’m considering the following individual stocks that make up a total of 20% of my portfolio. Is this diversified enough and good to go? :)
45% tech/semicon: NVDA, TSM, GOOG (10% each), MSFT, AMZN, NBIS (5% each)
20% memory: MU, SNDK (10% each)
15% space: RKLB, ASTS, PL (5% each)
10% lifestyle: RDDT, NFLX (5% each)
10% regional/others: Sony, Tencent (2% each), remaining 6 penny stocks - HOVR, AMPX, HGRAF, RZLV, DRTS, SLS (1% each)

Yes!! If JOBY and ACHR can climb to $10 so can HOVR, especially because its operation cost per hour is 0.97 wayyyy less than the competition, is a hybrid integrated system with OEM components and charges while in the air reducing aircraft downtime
Yeah this stock is waiting to take off like a rocket

Since you’re a beginner, I would recommend an ETF like VOO or VTI. Similar to someone elses comment, putting it 50% VOO and 50% QQQ is a great start. Essentially, if you’re unaware of what an ETF is, it’s an “exchange traded fund,” which really just means a group of stocks bundled together into one trade-able asset. This equals lower risk, decreased volatility, and higher diversity in your portfolio.
Now, if you want to buy a stock in a company, I would recommend looking into Microsoft. If you go back a year, their stock price is almost the same, and the stock price now is a great time to get in. Not encouraging you to try and “time the market” but right now is pretty good to enter in. Similar to another comment also however, don’t go all in. 80% ETF and 20% MSFT would be a good combo for example.
Last thing: if you post stuff like this, you’ll get genuine comments, and then you’ll get people who are trying to pump crazy speculative stocks that have super high risk/reward ratios. You’ll see plenty of NBIS and plenty of HOVR, probably MU and DRAM also. You’ll notice some of these have run up recently, and they’ll look enticing; I’ve been in your shoes before and let me tell you something. Don’t listen to those bastards. Just stick with the companies you know, and keep with the ETFs, and of course do your own research. Godspeed brother

I have a position in AMAT. Battery recycling is going to be very profitable soon imo.
Also have some HOVR. Very curious where that whole sector is headed.
