I agree. I am exhausted with seeing HOVR or NOK over and over. It wouldnt surprise me if was one guy with multiple accounts spamming each thread.

That's a weird take. HOVR builds aircraft. Of course it takes time? They are working on a full scale prototype to be completed Q1 2027. Until then I expect price to mostly follow broad market or short term hype and cool off...

Look at HOVR stock as being in the "accumulation " stage. Stocks need a catalyst and for most HOVR investors, the successful launch of the prototype aircraft in 6-9 months is it. That's when I expect the share price to pop so I'm not selling my shares ahead of that time frame.

I bought HOVR off Reddit hype which is something I rarely do. But I only threw $2,500 at it as a flyer -it's down 35% for me in about a month. It's really the only real poor play in my portfolio, and I might be cutting bait pretty soon.

I totally agree with you. HOVR is a long term investment. You can swing trade it, but anything above 2,2$ is risking that you´re either gonna have to sell at a loss or sit on the position for a while. If you´re willing to hold this for 1 year+, or rather 2-5 years, your patience will most likely be rewarded, and you will make a profit, regardless of whether you bought in the 1$, 2$ or even 3-5$ range.
But in order to hold this long you´d actually have to do research and understand what the company is doing, and not just invest based on a rising Stockprice.

I do use reddit to search for new stocks and I agree some posts are sketchy could be short term pump and dumps.
However I think they do tend to target companies that do have some potential and could be good long terms holds even if some are getting rich on the votality, as its easier to bait new investors into something half decent.
I have my own shopping list, buy what seems the best value at given time (ie everyone is buying AI now while space stocks are down, HOVR is cooling off too), and hold long term/trim later.
Try not to FOMO into anything, if you want to chase the current trend then dca with small amounts but nothing more.

If you’re still chasing HOVR / NOK type stocks with $4k you’re basically donating liquidity
