I've generally been focused on fintech and health sector over the past 2 years. Trading in and out of HIMS, LFMD, STNE, NU, SOFI, and more recently now OSCR, UNH, Kaspi, and Novo. Certainly volatility is a concern, but having taken the approach of selling out of these as they have gapped up and RSI's have become over-extended has netted my best year investing, despite volatility.
Hard to say where to find value at the moment, as a lot of the easy money has been made in the wake of the market recovery from tariff shocks. History would suggest a look to emerging markets at a time like this, and I've certainly weighted my portfolio more into stocks like Kaspi in recent weeks.
That said, I've also shifted more defensively recently, as I'm nervous about the potential for multiple contractions across the broader market. Whilst looking less likely in the near term, FED rate cuts are coming with inflation stable, so I wanted to lock in certain attractive fixed-rate preferred shares that are little discussed I've found. Many with dividends between 8-11% that have until recently traded up to 20% below par value (currently holding ESGRO, HOVNP, LFMDP, POWWP, VIASP).
Just my two cents, but also struggling to balance macro concerns with personal positioning ATM. Happy hunting.
