Thanks, that very much validates my initial thoughts.
The best trades I've had so far were during regular hours with proper stop loss, no emotion (well, other than feeling sad it went the wrong way). Moderate gains, but the kind that could sustain a strategy.
But premarket it's just been a gong show trying to get into an upswing, which turned totally sour, and before you know it you reason: I shouldn't sell yet, it will probably go up... which turns into: I shouldn't sell, it could not possibly not this low... and here I am, at the end of the day, or even a day later still holding on to it because it would be a waste to lock in that loss at this point (you hear me ELAB and CYN !?)
