The way things are going I give EA 2 - 3 more years. The quality of the games will suffer and sales estimates are going to be missed and that will lead to further layoffs and lower quality. It doesn’t matter that they have all this franchises, eventually the weight of the world will be too much.

You see, the thing is, I have a rather different interpretation of what an indicator is. that interpretation, changes what I build. That changes what I see. That informs what I do. Because they don't see what happened. They can't even "see" price. The ONLY one that can see price is the one that generates the bars, and that's just so that it can draw targets aligned to the data it's using. They're not measuring this chart. They're just reporting what they do measure, on it. Funny how it lines up, isn't it. Funny how it lines up... BEFORE the price moves, isn't it? If I pull the blue line up, it resets the zero for the data set and the indicator that can't predict price... shows the move direction and intensity - and finishing points - before they happen. Because they aren't indicators. I had to roll screen a bit to get the second part of the image; so it's a bit misaligned 'sorry'. Just because YOU believe something, it doesn't make it absolutely true in every case. Just because you've heard the same shit spouted on reddit for the last 10 years about how indicators can't predict, and they're lagging, and all the other crap that broke ass gurus and unprofitable 'traders' shit out of their mouth-holes while they bleed money, and quit within 90 days; that doesn't mean that someone else hasn't solved it, somewhere. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ 9 data feeds, 14 includes, 3 sets of GUI's in 3 "Indicators". 3 API's pulling data feeds from 2 websites, plus webhook intergration. 2 separate Python Translators, that convert that data into csv feeds that the 'indicator' can then read; and an gV injector that can switch modes on and off, and update the calculation offsets for the target and re-entry systems. Oh. There's also an EA that manages the trades into and out of that position; it's not loaded on this chart or else that would be too messy to 'interpret'. Oh, and a Watcher, running on 114 symbols, that can pull the whole stack, set it up, align the data feeds and trigger the main EA execution which then pulls the indicators, takes its frist trade based on teh watcher, then uses the entire stack to "totally not predict' which direction price will break to, and what level it will run to, so then it will start pyramiding in trades; then close out cleanly when the signal runs 'dry', over up to 15 at a time. I only let it pull 3 or my data suppliers start asking for more robuxx, lol. sorry - what was that? I couldn't hear you over the sound of my PC fans.

I have been trading for years. And for years I was focusing heavily on perfecting my entry, as well as my exit. Dont get me wrong,I focused on both. But my results were meh. Always on breakeven, with high swings in losses and wins. Over the years I tried extremely many strategies. And I found that trading basically boils down to this. “Let profit run, cut losses fast” So I tried to live and breath this quote, again focusing my decision both on entry and exit. I slowly started automating things, my indicators my signals etc. but I found myself still focusing heavily on entry. Making me lose focus sometimes, and even miss trades. My strategy heavily focus on small losses and big wins. Recently I did one of the best thing I ever did in trading. I completely automated my entry, now the EA will enter and place appropriate stop loss and auto lot size based on pair etc. What a huge mental load was taken off, and now whenever a trade is being placed my involvement is whether to kill it or let it run. Thats it. My only decision now is on exit. No more I think about entry. Actually this is not news to me, for years I already knew that exit what makes the difference in results, but I didnt bring myself to fully auto entry. Call it fear or what not. But I just always felt the need to perfect my entry which btw is not that important. Exit is what 100% going to break or make your strategy. And lastly. Don’t forget Let winners run, cut losses fast. And here is a question you need to ask yourself. If your trade is up 1000$ and it cut back to 600$ is this a winning trade? Or now its actually a losing trade even tho its still a profit? for me the stuff that actually bit wasn't on your list. server time zone and DST, every broker runs a different server clock and some shift for DST and some don't, so anything session based quietly trades the wrong hours. I ended up making my EA detect the offset itself. second is symbol specs, stops level, freeze level, contract size, they differ a lot and an EA that's fine on one broker gets rejections on another. and once it's live, replay the live trades through your backtest trade by trade, that tells you your real slippage way better than any broker's marketing does. only done that on demo so far but it already caught stuff

What I learned that the best way to see if an EA works is by backtesting it with Live tick data, not every tick, that way you know whether your trade will work in your own broker! Very honored and glad I managed to ROI both my initial deposit and the credits spent working on this EA! This is a breakout strategy based EA with variable trailing stops and each trade is explicitly set to SL at 5% of balance size. Question: Whats next?
