For whatever reason, the alt season that passed is by this cycle didn’t come (and I don’t know except to say all the DJT interference)- I do believe a bang up alt season is still in the cards.

Tech is so deeply intertwined with every single company at this point. It's not 2000 anymore -- f-ing Walmart is doing drone delivery and AI investments, tech **IS** the market. If QQQ saw a dot-com level crash you best bet that every single index fund is cratering with it.
QQQ is genuinely a fairly diversified fund at this point too, it isn't even completely composed of "tech" companies.
Buffet has underperformed the S&P500 for the last 10 years. I'm not going to say he got lucky, but I also don't think blindly following what worked in 1985 is going to perform well into the next half of the century.
