Fair enough. But the standard is a little higher for the POTUS. All the other modern presidents put their money into a blind trust whilst in office. Did they make money from books and speaking engagements when they were private citizens?- sure they did. But no other president has violated the emoluments clause like DJT has. And he has more information access and can in fact manipulate the markets just with a few sentences. Congressman and senators don't have that power.
Furthermore, he has not ever released his taxes like all the other modern presidents have done. And now he is and his family members are absolved from ever being audited. That means they never even have to file taxes ever again. If they'll never be audited Wi-Fi taxes in the first place. This is unheard of. Even the royal family in England pay taxes to the British state.
