Infinite ways. But you seem to equate any stock investment that isn't an index fund as gambling. If that's so, there's nothing I can suggest.
I personally have a small segment of my portfolio in a few more speculative ETFs, as well about ten individual stocks of companies of various sizes that I think have lots of upward growth. Those are riskier investments than VOO, but it's not gambling.
Now, two years ago when I was playing around with some options on DJT and made about $5K before cashing out? That was gambling.
But I'm not gambling today.

And rare earth minerals the USA needs to rebuild their bomb inventory. Those should be at least double the current price and then that would be further increased by the Trump tariffs. This was not thoroughly understood by DJT's administration. This reset in the economic dynamics will haunt the States for a generation or more.
