That's my thesis as well and why I also own gold. I do own a large $VT position, but I am out of US stocks besides a small position in $DE.
And this isn't just DJT, the Biden administration froze all Russian assets held abroad in USD as well. I love the USA, but there is a lot we need to reconsider as our role as a world economic partner.
