Bingo. This is def the primary reason. Fed independence is one of the very most important cogs in the great financial wheel. Uncertainy has been priced in since JPOW first started taking punches from DJT, and yesterday was another release valve on that downward pressure.

Personally I've spent the DJT era divesting myself of the USA anyways. I'm maybe at 30% USA, 20% Canada, and 50% rest of the world.
If you look at the S&P without the MAGS its performance has been meh. That's an awful lot of their market growth attributed to a handful of companies. And while it can lift the tech sector does it lift the rest of the S&P? I have reservations and skepticism about that.
