I’m so sorry. It is such a difficult introduction to “narcissism”. Often, he have no idea how we ended up tangled with someone who has an incurable personality disorder we had no idea existed.
(I was married to one nearly 20 years-only learned about it after my life imploded).
When I saw experts say DJT is a narcissist, everything fell into place.

Infinite ways. But you seem to equate any stock investment that isn't an index fund as gambling. If that's so, there's nothing I can suggest.
I personally have a small segment of my portfolio in a few more speculative ETFs, as well about ten individual stocks of companies of various sizes that I think have lots of upward growth. Those are riskier investments than VOO, but it's not gambling.
Now, two years ago when I was playing around with some options on DJT and made about $5K before cashing out? That was gambling.
But I'm not gambling today.
