Advice needed: Pursuing an MFE with a B.Com + CFA background (No UG Math)

I was scrolling through LinkedIn and came across this chart drawing elliot waves. This is the kind of crap that is being taught in name of technical analysis in social media and all these are educators running programs.
I won't name this person but she seems to be a gold medalist in finance. 😔 I do not practice elliot waves but any elliot wave practitioner can tell why this is wrong (if you cannot, you learnt it very wrong).
A guy commented on it correcting her but she kind of referenced John Murphy as source of her knowledge to counter that. This again shows that she does not understand what she is analysing and may be she generated the content using some AI and AI does not get it
So, This is a warning post.
If you want to learn the correct thing, learn it from a correct source.. the one teaching you technical analysis should be a CMT and one teaching you fundamental analysis should be a CFA or FRM.. not level 1 or level 2 passed.. a proper charterholder.
At least they will not make this mistake because most of these educators cannot pass the mentioned exams.
Still if you want to learn physics from your history teacher or from your barber, that's your choice.
I love technical analysis and my heart weeps at this crap, and then they say technical analysis don't work.

I want to know why are so mean? I didn’t sleep in hours. I posted some reddits and seeking help from u guys cause u are real people. And I was getting gifs and questions like “u are 23 and u realising that now?” and “wrong question for this sub”. I AM SEEKING FOR HELP. Are u aware of that? Now.. Yes. I am freaking 23 years freaking old and I DO NOT HAVE A JOB IN FINANCE and I am preparing myself for CFA Level 1. I “discovered” internships cause I cant dedicate myself to a full time job because of the exams of my mba and the fact that I’m studying in other language WITH NO HELP. I know it sound fancy - MBA - but in my country is very normal after a bachelor to go to masters. They are even people in the late 30s who go to mba with me. Why are u trying to make 23 be an age where U NEED to be a billionaire? CFA is designed even for students LIKE ME.
So.. that being said.. I NEED A FREAKING JOB AND GOOD ADVICES. If you do not have them please leave. Thank you!

Hello! I have a curiosity. I’m 23, mba student and I’m studying the financial terms to understand better cause English isn’t my first language. My main goal is CFA Level 1. But I need some practical experience. Any idea how do I obtain an internship in finance or in this specific field? I keep applying but that stupid hr keep sending me automate rejection responses. Or what can I do as a first job in order to gain experiences and be able to understand investments more?

You can have whatever views you want on the AI trade, whether its a great buy or a bubble, these tickers are over the place and allow you to express any view you like. Plenty of portfolio overlap allows for relative value plays. Please read the filings and do your own math for the NAV estimates. You don't need to be a CFA, you can just track the latest valuation rounds and do some arithmetic.
