Being honest, if I see enough mentions on this sub I start to dig. If I like the company and think they will be around in 10-20 years I will read the most recent earnings and buy.
Have been watching Adobe and did not buy, same with Service Now and AppLovin. Just dont think they have actually gone below, or far enough below, fair value.
I did buy my first order of BSIN today. (Pretty much at their 52 week high too) Why you might ask?
When I make the decision to enter a position I usually buy a small amount anticipating it will drop. Once it goes lower than 10% I start cost averaging it.
Result: I currently own 20 individual stocks that I bought this year and 5 are in the red, including the one I bought today) Worst one is at 6.3% down, best one is 43% up. 7 are over 10% up.
