Some of that. Exodus Communications, the first large scale owner of data server farms. Adaptive Broadband (ADAP) also went bankrupt. Cisco and Juniper, now doing well but still not at their 2000 stock price. Several Telecom companies. Well, that portfolio was about $350,000 and pretty much disappeared, but my 401 K was about $550,000 and was in several good growth mutual funds. I simply kept those investments and kept adding actively to my 401k, which gave me 15+ years of buying equities on a fire sale. That low price investing is what made everything turn out better than just Ok when I retired in 2015.
