I'm hesitant towards GMG.
I said what I said above which is that I believe their actual graphene product is the "fumed silica" of carbon. But that isn't to say it is necessarily without use. Fumed silica is immensely useful but it's a commodity and commands commodity prices. GMG themselves know this. That's why they pivoted to my next point.
I do like their end product execution. They actually have three presently useful product lines. Thermal-XR, G-Lube, and the recently renamed G-Cells.
They couldn't sell the commodity tier graphene because unlike fumed silica, fumed carbon is a pain in the ass that doesn't just give away its magic freely. Fumed silica goes in and disperses all nice and acts hunky dory out of the box. The fumed graphene agglomerates like a bastard and ends up making things worse instead of better.
So they became a company that found and patented ways to make that graphene not do that within these three product lines. Which is awesome.
My fear is that they are squaring up against three Goliath industries at once and I'm not sure that they have the needed runway to not end up just getting side swiped by one or many of these giants through a competing product with a different graphene stock and dispersion method.
Beyond my belief in HG's graphene, I also like that they succeed when any end product using it succeeds no matter who wins within each industry. And if my belief in their product holds true then HG can make bank off of just selling the raw material without the pit fight of pushing product lines.
But who knows what the future will hold.
