Trump's economic team's aim is to reduce dependency on imports and on-shore the production of key industry. Make it so these large MNC's have to produce within the USA in order to sell in the USA. \*If\* and it's a very big \*if\* they are somewhat successful in that they will be increasing their tax revenue from more corporate activity, wages, sales taxes, property taxes, etc.
