most people here aren't young enough to remember the dot-com collapse in the early 2000s.
tech stock performance from 1995-2002 was extraordinary. cisco, nortel, microsoft, dell, EMC, Sun, Oracle... huge gains year over year.
then the crash. the signs are there. P/E ratios are ignored. Apple's revenue has been flat for the past 3 years, which is actually a decline due to inflation. Nvidia and Tesla likely highly overvalued and due for a massive correction.
