Q2 earnings dropped due to damages related to extreme weather.
That’s the cost of doing business, so earnings can be volatile in the short term.
I have no problem with that, as long as management stays discipline with underwriting policies, and their historical track record proves it.
On the other hand, book value increased 11%.
Historically, a P/B of 2.5 is a fair multiple for them.
